BeachLife Festival has always had a way of blurring the line between a music festival and a coastal lifestyle experience, but BeachLife Festival 2026 feels especially dialed in. Set for May 1–3, 2026 along the waterfront in Redondo Beach, this year’s edition leans into what it does best, pairing a stacked, cross-genre lineup with food, ocean air, and a kind of easygoing energy that’s hard to replicate anywhere else.

The headliners alone make a strong case. Duran Duran, The Offspring, and James Taylor and His All-Star Band sit at the top, but the depth of the lineup is where things open up. The Chainsmokers, My Morning Jacket, Slightly Stoopid, Sheryl Crow, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Grouplove, Peach Pit, Flipturn, and more fill out a weekend that moves from rock to indie to reggae to pop without feeling scattered. It’s curated, not crowded.

And for anyone not physically there, a large portion of the festival will stream live on ions.com, with the option to donate to support St. Jude, keeping that connection between entertainment and impact front and center.

The Setting Still Does Half the Work
BeachLife takes place at 239 N Harbor Drive in Redondo Beach, right at Seaside Lagoon, which means the ocean isn’t a backdrop, it’s part of the experience. You hear it, feel it, and by late afternoon, you’re fully in it.

Parking exists but is limited, so rideshare is the smarter move, with drop-offs at Dive N Surf just a block away. There’s also a free bike valet, which says a lot about the crowd this festival attracts. It’s active, local, and a little more intentional than the typical festival chaos.

Daily Flow and Set Times
The schedule is tight without feeling rushed. Friday opens later, running from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, while Saturday and Sunday start at noon and carry into the evening.
Each stage has its own personality. The HighTide Stage carries the major headliners, while SpeakEasy, LowTide, and RipTide stages create a constant rotation of discovery.
Friday builds toward Duran Duran at 9:00 pm, with Grouplove and Fitz & The Tantrums leading in. Saturday leans into energy with The Offspring closing the night, surrounded by Slightly Stoopid, Switchfoot, and Sugar Ray. Sunday shifts tone, ending with James Taylor after sets from Sheryl Crow and Poolside, while The Chainsmokers close out the LowTide Stage.
It’s paced in a way that lets people move, not just stand in one place all day.
Food Isn’t an Afterthought Here
BeachLife has quietly built one of the better food experiences on the festival circuit, and 2026 pushes that further.
The California Surf Club returns, offering a private, elevated dining space right on the grounds. Executive Chef Chase Carlson leads the experience, with access depending on ticket level. It’s polished but still relaxed, with views of the ocean and the LowTide stage.
The Captain’s Culinary Experience is back as well, hosted inside the Captain’s Bungalow. This space focuses on rotating menus from standout South Bay restaurants like Tin Roof Bistro, AttaGirl Hermosa Beach, and the Surf Club’s North Grill. It’s not just festival food, it’s actual dining, done well.
And then there’s the California Craft Brew Tent, which feels like a festival within the festival. Embolden Beer Company steps in as the official craft beer partner, showcasing a lineup that reflects the strength of Southern California’s brewing scene.
New Additions That Actually Add Something
Some of the new partnerships this year feel more immersive than promotional.
Fiji Airways brings a full activation, including a Kava Bar and a chance to win a trip to Fiji. It’s not just branding, it’s an experience that pulls people in.
The Aperol Garden offers a more laid-back corner of the festival, serving Aperol Spritzes, Campari cocktails, and non-alcoholic options in a setting that feels closer to the Italian coast than Southern California.
STōK Cold Brew Coffee powers the SpeakEasy Stage with a vintage cold brew truck and on-site activations, while Cove Soda introduces a prebiotic soda experience at the LowTide Stage.
There’s also an Aboard RV showcase, giving festivalgoers a look at a reimagined take on mobile living, which fits surprisingly well into the BeachLife mindset.
Returning partners like Skechers, DAOU, Hendrick’s Gin, Jack Daniel’s, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Waterloo, Lifeway Kefir, and Open Water round things out, creating a mix of familiar and new without overwhelming the space.
What to Know Before You Go
BeachLife Festival 2026 runs May 1–3 on the Redondo Beach waterfront, with limited tickets still available at beachlifefestival.com.
The festival operates under a clear bag policy. Bags must be transparent and within size limits, though small clutches and standard fanny packs are allowed. Lockers are available inside the venue, including options with mobile charging, and Captain Pass holders get dedicated access within the Captain’s Bungalow.

All ages are welcome, and children six and under get in free with a ticketed adult.
Between the music, the food, the setting, and the way everything is laid out, BeachLife continues to do something most festivals struggle with. It feels like a place people actually want to spend time, not just pass through.
That’s what keeps it coming back stronger each year.
