Set along the waterfront in Redondo Beach, BeachLife Festival returns May 1–3, 2026 with a sharper focus on what it does best: blending live music, coastal atmosphere, and a food program that actually holds its own.
The lineup alone is enough to draw a crowd, Duran Duran, The Offspring, James Taylor and his All-Star Band, The Chainsmokers, My Morning Jacket, Slightly Stoopid, Sheryl Crow, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Grouplove, Peach Pit and more, but BeachLife continues to distinguish itself by treating food and drink as part of the main event, not an afterthought.
A Private Dining Club Inside the Festival
At the center of the experience is the return of the California Surf Club, a members-style dining space built directly into the festival grounds. It’s one of the few festival setups that actually delivers on the idea of “VIP” without feeling staged.
California Surf Club – North Grill Steak Tacos
Executive Chef Chase Carlson leads the culinary program, serving refined coastal dishes, cocktails, and full-service dining in a space that overlooks both the LowTide stage and the ocean. VIP, Captain, and Captain Plus guests can access the restaurant, with walk-up reservations available at the North Grill entrance. Captain Plus ticket holders enter through a private club access point.
California Surf Club – North Grill Calamari
The atmosphere lands somewhere between laid-back surf culture and polished hospitality—intentional, but not overworked.
The Captain’s Bungalow: A Rotating Culinary Showcase
The Captain’s Bungalow offers a different kind of experience, less formal, but just as curated. Reserved for Captain and Captain Plus ticket holders, the space features a rotating lineup of South Bay restaurants, each bringing a distinct menu to the festival.
This year’s participants include Tin Roof Bistro, AttaGirl, and California Surf Club’s North Grill, with dishes like steak tacos and calamari reflecting a more localized take on festival dining.
“It’s a high-trust role tied directly to the BeachLife brand,” Carlson notes. “It’s an opportunity to create something memorable for guests.” That mindset shows up in the details—the food feels like it belongs here, not imported for convenience.
DAOU Returns as the Festival’s Wine Anchor
DAOU Vineyards returns for its fifth year as the official wine partner, continuing to shape the festival’s drink program in a way that feels integrated rather than branded.
Guests can find DAOU wines throughout the grounds, from dedicated wine bars to the VIP Deck and Cabanas. It’s a natural pairing, Paso Robles wine culture meeting the South Bay coastline, and it’s become one of the more consistent elements of the festival’s identity.
Beyond VIP: A Strong Food and Beverage Lineup for Everyone
Even outside the premium tiers, BeachLife keeps its food program thoughtful. Expect a mix of vendors and local favorites like Habit Burger, LoZio Osteria, Wise Barbecue, and Innamorata Gelato, along with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options that feel intentional rather than obligatory.
There’s also a noticeable expansion in non-alcoholic offerings. The Fiji Airways Kava Bar introduces a slower, social alternative rooted in Fijian tradition, while brands like HOPWTR and Best Day Brewing bring alcohol-free options that don’t feel like placeholders.
STōK Cold Brew Coffee hosts the SpeakEasy Stage, where artists perform stripped-down sets, while Cove Soda introduces its zero-sugar probiotic soft drinks across the grounds.
More Than Music: A Fully Built-Out Experience
Since launching in 2019, BeachLife has positioned itself as more than a music festival. Art installations, interactive brand activations, boutique shopping, and curated lounge spaces round out the experience, creating something that feels closer to a coastal lifestyle event than a typical three-day concert setup.
The result is a festival that encourages people to stay, explore, and move through different environments instead of just camping out in front of a stage.

About BeachLife Festival
BeachLife Festival has established itself as Southern California’s premier waterfront festival, blending live music, culinary experiences, and coastal culture into a multi-day event set along the beaches of Los Angeles County’s South Bay.
The festival draws from the lifestyle that defines the region, surf, sand, ocean air, and the easy rhythm of time spent by the water.
“We grew up here,” says founder Allen Sanford. “Surfing, hanging out with sand between our toes, being with friends, that’s what this is about. It’s a celebration of the ocean and everything that comes with it.”
That philosophy carries through every part of the event, from four stages of live music to high-end dining, celebrity chef collaborations, surf and skate culture elements, and a silent auction supporting the festival’s charitable partners.
BeachLife was co-founded by Allen Sanford and Rob Lissner, with Jim Lindberg of Pennywise serving as Brand Director and curator of the SpeakEasy Stage.
