Coachella Weekend 1 2026: The Artists Bringing Energy to the Desert

A curated look at standout electronic acts across the Sahara, Quasar, and DoLab stages…

Coachella Weekend 1 is shaping up to be a strong showcase for electronic music, with a lineup that blends established innovators and rising forces across the Sahara, Quasar, and DoLab stages. From hypnotic techno to melodic bass and sun-soaked daytime grooves, this year’s programming offers both depth and variety.

Artists including Tiga, Adriatique, Subtronics, and Poolside’s Daytime Disco are set to deliver some of the weekend’s most compelling sets. Whether experiencing it live on the polo fields or via livestream, these performances highlight the evolving sound of electronic music right now.

Friday, April 10

Tiga — 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Quasar Stage

Tiga has long balanced two distinct identities: underground techno authority and pop-minded songwriter. That duality continues to define his appeal, making him one of electronic music’s more dynamic figures.

Arriving at Coachella in support of HOTLIFE—his first album in a decade, releasing April 17, 2026 via Turbo Recordings and Secret City Records—Tiga brings fresh material that reflects both evolution and consistency. Tracks like “FRICTION,” “ECSTACY SURROUNDS ME,” and “SILK SCARF” showcase a renewed creative energy, alongside collaborations with Boys Noize, Maara, and MRD. The project also includes a reinterpretation of INXS’ “Need You Tonight.”

Expect a set that moves fluidly between club-driven intensity and accessible melodic moments.

Adriatique — 10:30 PM – 11:30 PM, Sahara Stage

Nearly 15 years after forming in Zurich, Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer, known collectively as Adriatique, have established themselves as leaders in melodic and hypnotic techno. Their work consistently blends emotional depth with technical precision.

The duo’s catalog includes their debut album Nude, notable remixes like RÜFÜS DU SOL’s “In The Moment,” and more recent releases such as “Lost In The Woods” with Elderbrook and “Closer” with Emmit Fenn. Their ability to merge storytelling with club energy has defined their rise.

Following previous appearances at the Yuma stage, their 2026 Sahara debut promises a more expansive production, including new visuals and a setlist that mixes fresh material with established favorites.

Poolside’s Daytime Disco — 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM, DoLab

Poolside’s Daytime Disco brings a different kind of energy to Coachella, laid-back, sunlit, and rhythmically smooth. Created by producer and multi-instrumentalist Jeffrey Paradise, the project began in a Los Angeles pool house with a focus on crafting relaxed yet danceable music.

That concept evolved into a signature sound and a widely followed Spotify playlist, now with tens of thousands of followers, eventually expanding into a live party experience.

Poolside’s discography includes five albums, Pacific Standard Time, Heat, Low Season, High Season, and Blame It All On Love, along with remixes for artists like Billy Idol, Jack Johnson, and Miami Horror. Known for global touring and polished live performances, Poolside delivers a set built for the late afternoon desert atmosphere.

Subtronics — 9:05 PM – 10:05 PM, Sahara Stage

Philadelphia-born producer Jesse Kardon, known as Subtronics, has spent the past decade building a distinct sonic identity rooted in experimental bass and evolving melodic elements. What began as unconventional SoundCloud uploads has grown into a global presence.

In 2025 alone, Subtronics sold out six nights at The Shrine in Los Angeles and headlined major venues including Sphere in Las Vegas. His momentum continues into 2026 with his Coachella debut, an important milestone in his career.

This performance represents both continuation and reinvention. Over the past six months, Subtronics has focused on new music, expanded visuals, and a redesigned stage concept. His set will feature tracks from his upcoming third studio album FIBONACCI, along with new collaborations and guest appearances.

Working with visual director Erik Mahowald and creative studio Strange Loop, the production aims to elevate the experience while maintaining the core identity that built his audience.

A Weekend Built on Sound and Atmosphere

Across three days, these artists reflect the range of where electronic music stands today—from immersive techno narratives to high-energy bass and daytime groove culture. Each set offers a distinct experience, shaped as much by production and setting as by the music itself.

For those attending, it’s a chance to move between moods and styles without leaving the festival. For those watching remotely, Coachella’s livestream provides a front-row view into one of the most influential music gatherings of the year.
