Breakfast just earned a serious upgrade in North Orange County. Tacomasa, the Tijuana-inspired restaurant known for its street-style tacos and bold, uncomplicated flavors, has launched a new breakfast burrito menu. The items are available every morning until 11 a.m., giving locals a fresh option for a quick yet satisfying start to the day.

The restaurant keeps the menu true to what made it popular in the first place. Portions are generous, the ingredients are simple and fresh, and the flavors stay authentic to Baja cuisine.

The experience begins the moment you walk through the door. Guests are greeted with a warm “hola,” followed by a space that feels both traditional and inviting. The white-and-blue palette, clean layout, and unfussy decor echo the casual taquerías of Tijuana. It is the kind of setting that instantly signals fresh ingredients, straightforward cooking, and hospitality that feels genuine.

Tacomasa’s Adobada Supreme brings together pork, eggs, fries, and cheese in one warm, satisfying bite.

The breakfast lineup features seven burritos. Guests can choose from Asada, Adobada, Adobada Supreme, Tocino, Desayuno, Nopal, and Frijol con Queso. Each burrito is wrapped in a soft, fluffy tortilla that feels ideal for warm scrambled eggs and melty cheese.

During my visit, I tried the Asada and the Adobada Supreme. The Adobada Supreme comes loaded with tender seasoned pork, scrambled eggs, fries, jack cheese, and a touch of sour cream. It tastes like a complete breakfast plate that happens to be portable. The flavor of the pork stands out right away. It is well seasoned and tender, and it holds up beautifully against the creamy cheese and soft eggs.

The Asada burrito includes steak, eggs, and cheese. Adding beans takes it to another level. Tacomasa uses mashed peruano beans, which have a mild and creamy flavor that pairs perfectly with the steak. Between the fluffy eggs, tender meat, and generous amount of cheese, each bite feels balanced and thoughtfully prepared. Even with hearty fillings, the burritos taste light and fresh. Nothing feels overly salted or heavy.

A warm tortilla filled with steak, eggs, and cheese for an easy morning favorite.

The aguas frescas are another highlight. Every flavor is made in-house. Guests can choose from horchata, jamaica, plátano, pepino con piña, and guayaba con limón. My friend ordered guayaba con limón while I chose pepino con piña. Both drinks were refreshing and well balanced, with no overpowering sweetness. They pair beautifully with the warmth of the burritos.

Before we left, we tried the Abuelita Chocolate soft serve. Abuelita hot chocolate is famously rich, so we expected a strong flavor. Instead, the soft serve was surprisingly subtle and creamy. It has the familiar taste of Mexican hot chocolate without overwhelming the palate.

While the new burritos are the spotlight right now, Tacomasa continues to offer a full menu throughout the day. Guests can order burritos, tortas, mulitas, vampiros, tacos, and loaded fries. Everything follows the same approach of fresh ingredients and straightforward preparation.

Tacomasa’s presence continues to expand. In addition to the Brea location, the restaurant operates in Cypress, El Segundo, and Long Beach. All locations will offer the new breakfast burrito menu, allowing more guests to experience Tacomasa’s morning flavors.

Tacomasa’s breakfast burritos feel like a natural next step for a restaurant that already excels at simple Mexican comfort food. Whether you are trying the indulgent Adobada Supreme or customizing your Asada burrito with peruano beans, the experience is warm, flavorful, and satisfying. Pair your meal with a house-made agua fresca, then finish with Abuelita soft serve for a morning that feels complete.
