San Pedro-born reggae band Spliff Vision, a tight-knit family band, dropped a long-awaited new single called San Pedro on August 1st, released through Starry Music, the indie label helmed by Venice Beach Dub Club frontman Seth Caro. The track serves as a soulful tribute to their hometown, blending roots reggae with raw storytelling and emotional depth.

Spliff Vision
Raised in “The Lows” of San Pedro, the brothers and cousins who make up Spliff Vision turned struggle into substance. Frontman Konker Spliff survived a stray bullet in a drive-by shooting at age 21, a moment that reshaped his path and became central to the group’s intention. Their music, which they call “Reality Roots,” is steeped in lived experience, resilience, and love for the community that shaped them.

With a loyal local following, Spliff Vision has become a defining voice in the San Pedro music scene. Their unmistakable sound, commanding live energy, and iconic flag stickers have made them a recognizable force across California, from venue walls to traffic signs and even ski lifts. They’ve shared the stage with reggae icons like The Wailers, Don Carlos, and Steel Pulse, and have played major events including the LA Fishing Festival and Music by the Sea, where San Pedro’s honorary mayor gave them a memorable introduction.
