The TASTE AWARDS, widely considered the highest honors for creators in food, fashion, travel, and lifestyle media, have officially opened submissions for their 17th Annual Awards. Often referred to as the “Oscars of Taste” and the “Michelin Star” of storytelling, the TASTE AWARDS are more than accolades — they’re a global passport to cultural relevance and creative recognition.

For years, the TASTE AWARDS have celebrated chefs through the Best Chef in a Series category. But for 2025, that category has been split in two to better reflect the diverse ways chefs reach audiences today.
Best Host Chef in a Series will spotlight the chefs who not only cook but lead the conversation, guiding viewers through recipes, cultural explorations, and personal stories. These are the faces of culinary education and entertainment, the hosts who invite us into their world one episode at a time.
Meanwhile, Best Reality Competition Chef will highlight those rising through the ranks in high-stakes culinary showdowns. From quick-fire challenges to high-pressure eliminations, these chefs prove their artistry and resilience under the glare of reality TV and often go on to become household names.
Both categories honor distinct forms of storytelling, and both are now finally getting their own spotlight.
A New Spotlight on Beauty
With the rise of lifestyle influencers and personality-driven platforms, the TASTE AWARDS also introduce a third new category: Top Model or Best Beauty Personality. This addition acknowledges the growing impact of those shaping beauty trends through on-screen charisma, fashion sense, and digital presence. Whether it’s makeup tutorials, runway moments, or holistic beauty advice, these creators are redefining what influence looks like.
Submissions Now Open
The 17th Annual TASTE AWARDS are now accepting nominations through September 6, 2025, for work first released between October 2024 and October 2025. Creators and producers across TV, film, streaming, podcasts, radio, and photography are encouraged to submit their entries via TheTasteAwards.com/enter or FilmFreeway.com/TasteAwards.
