CHOC by Cori Broadus Redefines Beauty with Inclusivity and Confidence

Cori Broadus is redefining beauty with CHOC

Cori Broadus, daughter of hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg, is carving her own path in the beauty industry with CHOC, a self-care brand that’s all about embracing who you are—without apology. Launched exclusively online on February 15th at ChocFactory.com, CHOC is more than just makeup; it’s a movement that champions self-love, inclusivity, and authenticity.

What sets CHOC apart is its commitment to enhancing natural beauty rather than masking it. It was created for those tired of putting beauty standards above happiness. Instead of pushing unrealistic ideals, the brand focuses on enhancing natural beauty, offering high-performance, clean, and ethical products that work for all skin tones. Every formula is vegan, cruelty-free, and Sephora Clean-certified, proving that makeup can be both inclusive and high-quality.

After personally trying every product in the debut collection, I can confidently say that CHOC is the real deal. The formulas are nourishing, effortless, and perfect for anyone, whether you love a full-glam look or prefer something soft and natural. One of the things I love about CHOC is that it’s not just about looking good—it’s about feeling good too. The formulas are nourishing and effortless, making them perfect for anyone, whether you’re a beauty pro or someone who prefers a more natural look.

CHOC Lip Gloss is glossy, lightweight, and never sticky.

The debut collection has something for everyone. Lip Gloss – A hydrating, non-sticky gloss that delivers a flawless shine without feeling heavy. The lightweight, jelly-like texture makes it perfect for everyday wear. The Lip Gloss has quickly become a staple in my routine. It’s lightweight, non-sticky, and gives the perfect glossy shine without feeling heavy. Whether worn alone or layered over lipstick, it enhances the lips beautifully. Pairing it with the Lip Pencil takes things up a notch—this liner is silky, intensely pigmented, and completely smudge-proof, giving lips a crisp, defined look that lasts.

Self-care starts with soft, nourished lips and CHOC’s lip scrub & mask have you covered.

One of my absolute must-haves is the Lip Scrub—a no-rinse exfoliating treatment that gently buffs away dry skin without stripping moisture. Unlike other scrubs that can feel rough, this one leaves lips baby-soft and smooth in just seconds. And when my lips need extra hydration, the Lip Mask is a game-changer. It’s rich, creamy, and deeply moisturizing, perfect for restoring hydration overnight or giving lips a boost during the day. With new shades and formulas rolling out every month, CHOC is keeping things fresh while staying true to its mission of empowering self-love.

Birthday Suit is the perfect nude for everyday slay.

One of the best things about CHOC? There’s a shade for everyone. Whether you’re into bold, statement colors or soft, subtle glam, CHOC has something for every vibe. Two of my personal favorites are the Taylor and Birthday Suit. Taylor is a rich, warm shade that strikes the perfect balance between bold and wearable. It makes a statement without overpowering, making it ideal for both everyday wear and special occasions. Meanwhile, Birthday Suit is the ultimate soft nude—versatile, subtle, and always polished. It enhances my natural lip color without looking overdone, making it perfect for everything from casual days to dressed-up nights.

More Than Makeup: CHOC Gives Back

CHOC isn’t just about beauty—it’s about making a difference. Later this year, Cori is launching The CHOC Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to self-love, mental wellness, and community support. “The CHOC Foundation was created to support kids from low-income families, single parents, and individuals facing health challenges,” Broadus explains. “In a world where inflation and systemic inequities leave so many struggling, we want to provide real support.”

A Legacy of Love

For Cori, CHOC is deeply personal. The name comes from a childhood nickname given to her by her father, Snoop Dogg. “When I was little, my dad called me ‘CHOC’ because I was sweet and chocolate-colored,” she shares. “That nickname was a symbol of love and acceptance, and I’ve poured that same energy into CHOC to create something that celebrates you just as you are.”

With CHOC, Cori Broadus is rewriting the beauty narrative—not by making people conform, but by empowering them to embrace their natural glow. And I, for one, am completely here for it.
