Behind the Stage

The SpeakEasy Stage is curated by BeachLife Creative Director Jim Lindberg, a pioneer of the West Coast punk scene and frontman for Pennywise. Jim Lindberg explains, “The South Bay is internationally recognized as the birthplace of some of the best hardcore punk. This updated lineup, featuring homegrown talent like Milo Aukerman and myself, reaffirms a commitment to keeping the punk spirit alive while blending it with the festival’s laid-back vibe. It’s truly the place to be on the down low.”

Eddie Andre, Co-Founder and VP of Brand at Grillo’s Pickles, comments, “This year is extra special because some of the biggest musical influences, such as Milo from the Descendents and Jim Lindberg from Pennywise, are performing on the SpeakEasy Stage. Expect incredible art at the Punk Rock & Paintbrushes zone, along with pickle-themed cocktails, exclusive merchandise, and fun surprises like the return of Sam Sam the Pickle Man and the pickle ride.”
