Rock ‘n’ Roll Revelry: Sir Rod Stewart’s Surprise Bash at The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails

Sir Rod Stewart's Surprise Bash at The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails

Saturday night in Las Vegas turned into a rock ‘n’ roll fairy tale when Sir Rod Stewart, the two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, popped up at The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails. Nestled within the glitzy confines of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, this swanky speakeasy and live music hotspot was the stage for an unforgettable celebration of Stewart’s milestones: the first anniversary of his Wolfie’s Whisky and the upcoming grand finale of his 13-year “Rod Stewart – The Hits” residency.

Rod Stewart and his business partner, Duncan Frew, CEO of Wolfie’s Whisky

The evening kicked off with a bang as Sir Rod himself stepped behind the bar, joining forces with his business partner, Duncan Frew, CEO of Wolfie’s Whisky. The duo served up shots of their celebrated Scotch, much to the delight of the lucky patrons. As the night unfolded, Stewart, accompanied by his family—including his wife Penny Lancaster, his children Sean, Liam, and Renee, and Liam’s new wife Nicole Artukovich—brought an extra layer of magic to the affair.

In true rock star fashion, Stewart treated fans to an impromptu a capella rendition of “Have I Told You Lately That I Love You,” followed by a sing-along of “Ooh La La” with his talented backup singers Holly Brewer, Becca Kotte, JoAnne Harper, and Radio XX. This all-star rock band, featuring Ben Carey (formerly of Lifehouse and Savage Garden), Bryce Soderberg (Lifehouse), Toby Rand (Rockstar Supernova finalist), and drummer Al Seratto, added their own spark to the night.

The evening’s highlight? A grand presentation of a cake shaped like a bottle of Wolfie’s Whisky, celebrating the whisky’s success and Stewart’s remarkable residency. Guests sipped on specialty cocktails crafted with Wolfie’s Whisky, such as the extravagant Rockstar Martini—a dazzling mix of Wolfie’s Scotch, Chambord, blood orange syrup, vanilla syrup, lime juice, and champagne—and the zesty Do Ya Think I’m Sexy, featuring Wolfie’s Scotch, agave syrup, lime juice, Fire Tincture, mint, and jalapeño.

The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails has a reputation for surprise performances, and this night was no exception. With past guest appearances by Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak, Zac Brown, Dave Matthews, Machine Gun Kelly, and Travis Barker, the venue continues to deliver rock star moments in an intimate setting.
