As the world continues to prioritize health and sustainability, one brand is leading the charge in encouraging consumers to make a simple yet impactful switch: opting for non-dairy milk. Minor Figures, a pioneer in the plant-based milk industry, is launching an exciting global campaign: “Dairy Disloyalty.” The two-week campaign aims to encourage consumers to explore the benefits of non-dairy milk through a fun, engaging competition running from May 30 to June 13.
Stamp-Collecting Competition Across Six U.S. Cities
The “Dairy Disloyalty” campaign will take place in six major U.S. cities: Atlanta, Los Angeles, Nashville, New York City, Portland, and San Francisco. Participants are invited to visit six participating cafes in each city, purchase a specialty drink or coffee made with any plant-based milk, and collect stamps on a special card.
In Los Angeles, the participating cafes are:
Civil Coffee (4220 Coldwater Canyon Ave)
Cognoscenti Coffee (1118 San Julian St)
Collage Coffee (5106 York Blvd)
Mad Lab Coffee (11955 Culver Blvd)
Menotti’s Coffee Stop (12430 Washington Blvd)
Proof Bakery (3156 Glendale Blvd)
To participate, just buy a drink made with plant-based milk at each of the six listed cafes. You will then receive a stamp on a special card for each purchase. Once all six stamps are collected, scan the QR code and upload a photo of your completed card. The first 100 submissions will receive a vintage-style Minor Figures bowling shirt. Additionally, all submissions will be entered into a draw for the grand prize, a customized La Marzocco Linea Mini Espresso Machine.
Join the final days of Minor Figures’ Dairy Disloyalty Campaign and sip your way to a sustainable future with plant-based coffee
“Through this two-week awareness campaign mobilizing the coffee community, we hope that people will start to look at how a small action, switching from dairy to plant-based milk, can help improve the health of the planet,” explained Francesa Salac, Head of Marketing in North America for Minor Figures.
Minor Figures is running this campaign in more than 20 cities worldwide, including Berlin, London, Melbourne, Paris, Tokyo, and Vienna, as part of their mission to promote sustainable and delicious alternatives to dairy.
Benefits of Plant-Based Milk
Switching to plant-based milk, like Minor Figures’ oat milk, offers numerous benefits. It is ideal for those with dairy allergies or lactose intolerance. It reduces dependence on cattle, which significantly contribute to methane emissions and climate change. Cattle farming is also a major driver of deforestation. Plant-based milks also have a lower carbon footprint compared to traditional dairy milk.
