Many people are often eager to get fit and transform their health. However, they might lose all motivation when they are panting for air or struggling with muscle fatigue after a hard workout. Rather than giving up when exercise feels hard, it would help if you looked for ways to make the physical activity fun and comfortable.

  • Look Ahead During Exercise

Many people are often tempted to look around when running on a treadmill or tackling an exercise bike. While you might think it will distract your mind, it could affect your focus and encourage you to throw in the towel much earlier.

According to a 2014 study from New York University, researchers discovered that participants who looked straight ahead when walking were 24% faster than those who looked around, and they were 28% closer to the finish line. Plus, the participants who looked ahead stated the workout felt easier.

The wrong workout sneakers or restrictive clothing can make exercise feel harder than necessary. If your shoes are rubbing or your feet are throbbing after exercise, it’s a sign you need to invest in better footwear.
