We’re all grateful for the brave men and women who put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms. Many lose their lives during active duty or end up with life-changing injuries. And there is a silent enemy that can haunt them for the rest of their lives. Tragically, it is reported that anywhere from 17-22 veterans commit suicide every single day. Some veterans who battle Post Traumatic Stress take as many as 18 prescriptions daily, which is just a band-aid over a wound that will never heal. In the film, due out this spring, PTS sufferers are finally getting their voices heard as they speak out about their mistreatment by the healthcare system, the medications that are making them worse and the amazing new proven therapies that are giving them back their lives.
We need real solutions that will actually help our veterans get back to the life they knew before war.Â
Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) among our veterans is beyond a serious problem when over 20 veterans a day take their own lives by suicide. Most are given prescription drugs that don’t cure or solve the problem.
Because our veterans deserve more than just a band-aid, director/producer Michael Gier went on a mission and found successful treatments and programs that give veterans their lives back by healing the wounds of PTS. This documentary features life-changing options that give veterans HOPE; literally, save lives.​
