  • Ground turkey (dark meat, 1 pound)
  • A garlic clove (minced)

  • Ground cumin (1/4 teaspoon)
  • Salt (one pinch)
  • Black pepper (1/4 teaspoon, freshly ground)
  • Sweet onion (4 slices, grilled)
  • Barbecue sauce (1/4 cup)
  • Sesame seed burger buns (toasted)

Directions:

  • Take a medium-sized bowl, and mix the ground turkey meat with the garlic, cumin, and paprika. 
  • Now, form the meat into four 4-inch wide patties, and season them with salt and pepper.
  • Fire up the grill, and cook the burgers for about 7 minutes on each side. Meanwhile, toast the buns, and grill the onions as well. 
  • Assemble the burger and serve. 

Spinach-Quinoa Salad With Berries And Granola:

Are you tired of oatmeal for breakfast? What about a delicious breakfast salad with berries that are full of antioxidants and vitamins.  

Ingredients:

  • Apple cider vinegar (2 teaspoons)
  • Maple syrup (1 teaspoon)
  • Dijon mustard (1/4 teaspoon)
  • Salt (1/4 teaspoon)
  • Olive oil (1/4 teaspoon)
  • Greek yogurt (1 container)
  • Baby spinach (3 ounces)
  • Cooked quinoa (2/3 cup)
  • Fresh strawberries (2/3 cup, quartered)
  • Fresh blueberries (1/2 cup)
  • Almond granola (1/2 cup)

Directions:

  • Start by whisking the vinegar, mustard, and maple syrup in a bowl, and season it with salt. 
  • Now, slowly add the olive oil while constantly whisking until the mixture is fully emulsified. 
  • Add the yogurt to the serving plates. 
  • Now toss that spinach, berries, and quinoa with half of the dressing, and plate the salad. 
  • Drizzle the remaining dressing on the salad, and garnish with some granola. 

Salmon Noodles:

If you want to maintain a healthy diet, you should incorporate fish into it as well. Omega-3 fatty acids are one of the most important nutrients for your body, and one of the best sources for it is fish. 

Omega-3 fatty acids are excellent for brain development, and they have a lot of other benefits as well. Moreover, salmon is a healthy source of proteins and well. When it is combined with noodles and delicious vegetables, it makes for an incredible meal that helps you lose weight as well. 

Ingredients: 

  • Soba buckwheat noodles or whole-wheat spaghetti (4 ounces)
  • Asparagus (5 ounces, cut in thirds)
  • Salmon fillet (1 6-oz.fillet, without skin, cut into pieces)
  • Sesame oil (1 tablespoon, toasted)
  • Limes (2, Zest and juice)
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Cucumber (4 ounces, skin on, cut into pieces)
  • Avocado (1/2, cut into bite-size pieces)

Directions:

  • Cook the needles until they are soft. It will take about 8 minutes for spaghetti and 6 for soba noodles. 
  • Strain the noodles, and add the asparagus to the same water, cook for about 2 minutes and rinse with cold water. 
  • Heat a skillet, coat it lightly with some cooking spray, and cook the salmon pieces. 
  • Now, to make the vinaigrette, you need to Whisk lime zest and juice with the sesame oil and season it with salt and pepper.
  • Then combine the noodles, boiled asparagus pieces, and the vinaigrette in a bowl.
