Cash for your car

A whole new wellness movement has emerged in Hollywood. There has never been anything quite like this before. Remedy Place is the first-ever “social wellness club” that merges a social environment with an Eastern medicine-based holistic approach to self-care. The groundbreaking new concept from Dr. Jonathan Leary introduces a revolutionary new gathering place for those who want to achieve a balance and wellness in today’s modern world. It has already become immensely popular from the day they officially opened their doors to the public in West Hollywood on November 21, 2019.

Remedy Place is a destination where one’s social life is enhanced by a healthy lifestyle, rather than being sacrificed as a result. Remedy Place, conceived by Dr. Leary, is supported by a team of experts, all stemming from an Eastern medicine-based approach to healing and homeostasis. “Remedy Place needs to be a platform to expand people’s base and knowledge, to give them that access that’s so needed.”

His groundbreaking private practice has become widely known for its unique holistic approach and tangible results with the improvement of the quality of your health and your life.

Over the past 9 years, Dr. Jonathan Leary has worked to understand and develop cutting-edge techniques that optimize the body’s capacity for natural healing. The Remedy Place offers a combination of “high-touch” and high-tech services, accompanied with an educational foundation for all those looking to bring their physical selves back to balance and take a proactive approach to their personal wellness. And it’s all here, in one place, right in the heart of Hollywood, on Sunset Blvd.

The Philosophy Behind Remedy Place

Remedy Place is founded upon one simple belief: that the epitome of health is achieving and maintaining “homeostasis”, meaning, internal balance. We are all aware of the stressors of modern-day life! Whether it’s job-related or any of the issues and struggles people are facing these days.. or even something seemingly mild as a simple hangover – they ALL wreak havoc on our wellness baseline, which can lead to sickness, possible disease and eventually, death.

Thanks to Dr. Jonathan Leary who has combined all his years of experience, learning, research and action to develop the best and most effective healing environment and techniques to help the public at large restore to wellness:

“Remedy Place is the manifestation of my life’s work – which is to radically change the way society integrates education into wellness,” says Dr. Jonathan Leary, Founder, Remedy Place. “Our current healthcare model is dependent and reactive, but I believe people should be independent and proactive. This can only be done through education.  I want people to take back control, to utilize incredible technologies that exist today to keep their bodies in a healthy state of balance through preventative care that counteracts these stressors, so they don’t build up and push their health over the edge. To do this, I wanted to create a place that was communal in nature, so that one can incorporate wellness into their social life – because the two can and should go hand in hand.”

When you are able to achieve this balance, everything in your life is enhanced – mentally and physically – allowing you to experience deeper levels of happiness, success, connection, and overall health. Remedy Place offers a haven to those who wish to make conscious choices that prioritize this balance, with the option to have a social or solo experience every step of the way.

The design of the space intentionally fosters both communal experiences as well as moments of sanctuary that allow one to focus and reset. Designed by Bells + Whistles, Remedy Place begins in the lobby and retail space where guests are immersed in a luxe, dark interior where minimalist form meets maximal texture.  A neutral color palette, soft, natural light and lush greenery provide immediate serenity. All plasterwork, cement, and no paint. A neutral color palette, soft, natural light and lush greenery provide immediate serenity.

Remedy Place Nutritional Bar

There are very special effective techniques and practices at the core of the Remedy Place experience. Every inch of the environment has thought behind it, including the sounds and music being played.

Sound
Auditorily, underlying tones play beneath the space’s curated playlist for added benefits for the body and mind. Remedy Place uses a combination of 7.83hz and 40hz sound frequencies which help guests naturally produce matching frequencies through a process called entrainment. The 7.83hz frequency, otherwise known as the Schumann Resonance, is the approximate frequency of the Earth itself and helps to ‘ground’ guests throughout their practice. Meanwhile, the 40hz frequency, associated with Gamma brainwave activity, helps guests achieve states of peak performance as it tunes into the brain’s functions. Very cool!

Gather
The pulse of Remedy Place is the beautiful Lounge + Nutritional Bar, where members can meet or relax. Evocative of one’s favorite friendly bar where you can chat and socialize, the only difference is that Remedy Place eliminates temptation by providing a menu of locally-sourced, all-natural, healthy curated food and alcohol-free beverage options from the best purveyors, which work in tandem with the Antidotes and all Elements to restore balance.

Nutritional Bartenders will address guests’ stressors with pinpointed ingredients like oregano oil (a natural antibiotic) for a struggling immune system or turmeric to decrease inflammation. Drinks are served up to rival any cocktail, guilt, and toxin-free.

Other design highlights include a Meditation Room encased with glass walls, showers, and saunas that are warm and inviting with Wabi-Sabi influence. Spaces that are balanced – not clinical – that one will never want to leave. Guests’ wellbeing has been woven into every component of the aesthetic. Visually, warm lighting (around 2700K) limits blue light which can cause eye strain and inhibit rest and relaxation.

The wellness warriors at Remedy Place consist of a Head of Mind, Recovery Specialists, Nutritional Bartenders, Wellness Doctors, Nurse Practitioners and Naturopathic Doctors alongside Dr. Leary himself. Together, Remedy Place provides a 360-degree approach to holistic health.

For instance, we have Brazilian tree sap imported from Brazil that is used in certain ceremonies to actually cleanse your chakras to start your detoxification process in the Infrared room. Treatments with Doctors
And, as if this all wasn’t incredible enough, Chiropractic and Wellness doctors, trained in Chiropractic, Physiotherapy and Chinese medicine offer hands-on treatments, where they combine multiple therapies. Dr. Leary saw the effect when you combine these three things when he worked on professional athletes. He saw it was working and he coined his own treatment style so he can treat the average person like he would treat his pro athletes. He has a 100% success rate in any pain case and not one of his patients has ever had to get surgery even after being told by their doctor that they had to.

Dr Leary: “What we do is we adjust the full body to release every single joint, then we look at every muscle that is causing the pressure buildup, release the tightness in the muscle so the adjustment actually holds longer, and then we go with this Chinese medicine technique called Gua sha that uses a tool that breaks up fascial adhesions.”
