This past week we attended an exclusive screening/premiere party and met the cast of E!’s new hit docu-series, “Second Wives Club”, a reality show which follows a group of women who are married to wealthy, older, previously-divorced men.
The festivities took place at W Hollywood under the stars for the show’s cast, friends and family, including Jeremy Renner, Walter Afanasieff, Jeremy Madix and James Kennedy (Vanderpump Rules), Jasmine Goode (The Bachelor), for a premiere episode viewing on the big screen at Station Hollywood.

The premiere was well-accepted and friends of the cast cheered during the introductions. The cast also live tweeted and instagrammed from the event sharing their reactions right as the show was airing.
Guests enjoyed Strongbow Cherry Blossom Hard Apple Cider, beer by Heineken and bites by Hi SocieTEA, a tea bar tucked away at the W Hollywood.

Noticeably absent from the premiere was Tania Mara. Her character seems to be the center of quite a bit of drama, at least on the first episode. We’ll wait to see…
Though the glamour, the riches, the high-profile lifestyles that the ‘lastest’ Hollywood wives lead may seem enviable on the outside, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have to navigate the challenges and complications that come with having stepchildren, managing their own careers, maybe wanting children of their own, all the while navigating their May-December romances – with the goal of being their husbands’ “forever wives.”
Shiva Safai leads the newest reality crew of wealthy wives – or in her case, wife-to-be. She’s engaged to Mohamed Hadid (father of Gigi and Bella.) 32 years younger than her 68-year-old property developer fiancé.
Veronika Obeng is the third wife of Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Obeng, Shawna Craig, the fifth wife of actor Lorenzo Lamas, Morisa Surrey is married to fertility specialist Dr. Mark Surrey, Celebrity nail artist (Painted Nail) Katie Cazorla is married to Grammy-winning producer-songwriter Walter Afanasieff, and Tania Mehra, former Miss India, is married to Dean Bornstein – known professionally as Dean Hamiltion. The show follows the lead-up to their wedding.
Second Wives Club airs on Thursday nights at 9PM PST on E! Entertainment.
The W Hollywood’s Station introduced a summer series with an Alice in Wonderland theme that will be ongoing each week.
