Rebecca Reid, by Phil PoytnerActress Rebecca Reid, whose show “New Girl” on Fox, returns January 5th for its fifth season. Let it be known that Rebecca is the ONLY recurring guest star on “New Girl” starring Zooey Deschanel since season one, which is quite remarkable in itself. Rebecca also just starred in an original sitcom for Comedy Central called “I Live with Models” which aired in 92 countries.

Season 2 starts in February and the show is in talks to come to the U.S. on NBC.

Rebecca’s busy and productive schedule doesn’t stop there. She also performs stand up at the Comedy Store and Hollywood Improv and has opened for Chris D’elia, Daniel Tosh, Ahmed Ahmed and Bill Burr. She is currently on two major studios lists here in the U.S. as talent they are finding a pilot for.

If all of that already mentioned isn’t impressive enough, how about her social media character Audrey Mouse (the sister of a very VERY famous mouse that will go unnamed due to a confidentiality agreement) just got picked up by Insurgent media. They are developing an online show using this character, which Reid created with John Patrick Shanley (“Doubt” and “Moonstruck”) with a 5-episode order.

Also, in the new season of New Girl, the audience will get an idea of who Rebecca’s character Nadia was before she “learned her American manners.” Per Rebecca: “Nadia’s definitely an outsider. So if you consider yourself an outsider this is a character you could surely relate to. This season should be a fun new way to look deeper as to why Nadia is the way she is.”
