Iconic glam metal band Poison celebrates their successful run with 25 years in the business as bonafide rock stars. Poison’s top hits and fans favorite hits have been gathered for this 25th anniversary celebration by releasing “Double Dose: Ultimate Hits” 2CD on Capitol/EMI records. This disc gives fans what they have been craving for 35 songs off of this multi-platinum bands new release. “Double Dose: Ultimate Hits,” features all of the bands chart topping singles including the #1 smash ballad “Every Rose Has Its Torn,” top hits, “Nothin’ But A Good Time,” “Unskinny Bob” and “Something to Believe In.” Other big and fan favorites including, “Talk Dirty To Me,” “I Want Action,” “Your Mama Don’t Dance,” “Fallen Angel,” “Ride the Wind,” and many more including standouts from the band’s most recent album 2007 “Poison’d!”

“Between “Double Dose” and the 25th anniversary tour, I honestly can’t think of a better way to mark this major milestone,” says Poison’s frontman Bret Michaels. “I’m so excited to get back out on the road with the band again to celebrate – and ‘Double Dose is going to be such a must-have collection, all the hits in one place. This is going to be really special for all of the fans – and especially for all of those who have been with us since day one.” Many critics have counted this band out and now they have silenced those critics surviving 25 years together. They truly have had the last laugh.

This CD features all original members who will be hitting the road this summer with the high-anticipated tour featuring Motley Crue and the New York Dolls here is Los Angeles on June 14th at the Hollywood Bowl. Bret Michaels has bounced back after suffering a brain hemorrhage and warning stroke and hole in his heart and still has major plans to tour with the band this summer. His sheer guts and determination has served him well always seeking to appease his fans. Michaels and Poison have acquired a new fan base with Michaels VH1 shows “Rock of Love,” and “Life As I Know it.”

Michaels has partnered with Dean Guitars to represent a line of guitars and he will soon release a new vocal warm-up CD. This Fall he’ll hit the high seas aboard the Bret Michaels Super Cruise.
