I recently had the privilege to have celebrity make-up artist Shalini Vadhera “make me over” with the ultra-fabulous new Body Shop cosmetic line. Shalini is the new spokesperson for the store, having worked with many celebs, including Brooke Burke and Emmanuelle Chirqui, her love of these products speaks volumes.

Illuminating Face Base, this can be used alone or under foundation for the perfect glow.
Tailored Cheek Tint, now this stuff is amazing, it actually uses your own skin’s chemistry to get the perfect “flush”, now what’s hotter than that?
To finish a flawless and effortless look, a touch (or more) of High Shine Lip Treatment. I’ve been obessed with how smooth it feels and how moisturized it leaves my lips.
The look Shalini created for me used these products as well as the oil-free foundation and lightning touch, a “magic” wand to highlight and create a glow. We all want to shine from within, not from shiny skin! The best part of my new “look” was how fresh and light my skin looked and felt.
And….the eyes! Wow, she used a shadow from the new “Brush with Fashion” line, a glorious green, which if left to my own novice eyeshadow application, I would not have chosen at first. She, of course, knows best and it complimented my brown eyes and red hair like nothing else ever has.
The Big and Curvy Mascara really pumped up my lashes. It’s waterproof, tearproof, and smudgeproof, and ophthalmologist tested! Big & Curvy Waterproof Mascara benefits from Community Fair Trafe marula oil from Namibia and brazil nut oil from Peru.
Shalini explained, it’s all in the brushes used and the blending as far as re-creating this look at home. I have all the products and was able to duplicate easily, not to the expert of Shalini, of course, but with her tips and my new products, I was able to achieve a polished look with little effort. Exactly as I like my makeup routine to be……Fresh and Easy.
