Another Life“,  Official Selection at Newport Beach Film Festival, is an award-winning short thriller about a young female veteran being faced with an impossible decision of having to kill another soldier in three days or they both die. It not only deals with a woman returning home from Iraq with PTSD, it also relates to each and every person who has kept secret pain inside.

The screening for this incredible, thought-provoking film will be Tuesday night May 3rd at 8:30 pm as part of the Suspenseful Shorts series at the prestigious Newport Beach Film Festival. This is not a film to be missed.

The impressive cast includes Tracy Coogan, K. Harrison Sweeney, Robert W. Evans and Bobbie Prewitt.

The writer/director is Nathan Ruegger, a recent graduate with honors in Filmmaking at USC School of Cinematic Arts. We will be featuring a special Q and A interview with him on how he poured his heart and soul, along with his fantastic crew, including award-winning cinematographer Jay Visit, into “Another Life” to allow its audience an extremely real look into something we may not otherwise get to see, yet he also seems to understand the simple, yet often misunderstood fact that we are not alone with our personal demons.
