Get ready to salsa, tango, cha-cha or meringue your way to win a 25k dance competition! On September 30th, the Congo Room in the L.A. Live complex, will kick off a 6 week Latin Ballroom competition. Liz Lira, six time world salsa champion, and GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY award-winning salsa singer Jerry Rivera will be featured guest of El Grab Bailazo Campoinato de Las Americas! Other celebrity guests are expected to attend as well to help with judging. On top of that, there is a $25,000 cash prize for the winning couple!

On Oct.1st, the Conga Room is producing Taxi Dancehall. Taxi Dancehall is a Latin Burlesque Review conceived by burlesque legend Ivan Kane of 40 Deuce. The Taxi Dancehall dancers are hard at work promoting their show- it’s sure to be a great night!

Star Studded Performances at Conga Room
Performances have included the Gypsy Kings, Alejandro Fernandez, Black Eyed Peas, Prince and a weekly R & B industry night with GRAMMY winner Jamie Foxx called Foxxhole Live. The Conga Room is co-owned by will.i.am, Jimmy Smits, Jennifer Lopez, Paul Rodriguez, Sheila E., Amaury Nolasco and NBA players Baron Davis and Trevor Ariza.
