Cash for your car

Need to get away from it all for just a weekend or maybe you’re in the Phoenix area for business? Royal Palms Resort & Spa is the perfect place to enjoy supreme hospitality in a charming, old world locale. Royal Palms Resort & Spa offers everything you might need to restore, relax and indulge. Set among a cove of palm trees just at the base of Camelback Mountain, the Spanish-inspired resort was originally a mansion built in 1929 for a New Yorker looking for a retreat from city life. Most of the original property remains and is deemed as one of the Historic Hotels of America as well as a AAA Four Diamond property.

Romance Experts

Arched walkways, mosaic-tiled fountains, stone fireplaces, and rich fabric accents give the resort an ambiance of luxury and mystique. To make sure you take advantage of the beautiful surroundings, Royal Palms has a Director of Romance to help you plan a special stay filled with rose petal turndowns, bubble baths with champagne, couples spa treatments and many other surprises your honey will surely be impressed by. With all their attention on amore, its no wonder it’s voted “Best Reception for Small Weddings” by Arizona Bride magazine.

Shopper’s Paradise

Another unique service they offer their guests is akin to a personal shopper. Director of Shopping, Nancy Shina, provides custom shopping tours for resort guests, offering her insider’s knowledge of little known boutiques, specialty stores and unadvertised sales. Her chauffeur-driven excursions treat guests to VIP in-store receptions, exclusive trunk shows, and red carpet shopping for individual guests or for groups of friends.

Royal Accommodations

With over 119 rooms, there is definitely one suited to your needs. The Montavista rooms, newest to the collection, offer views of the tranquil reflecting pool and Camelback Mountain. Decorated in calming neutral colors, the rooms have spacious living rooms, a steam shower, high-count linens and Aveda toiletries.  In wintertime, you can sit on your balcony under the desert sky and listen to Spanish guitar players softly serenade you.

Alvarado Spa

After lounging at the pool, try alone or with a partner, a Botanica Ritual at the Alvarado, Royal Palms’ European inspired spa. The ritual begins with a body exfoliation lying on heated stone tables while water rinses you from above like a tropical waterfall. Next is a soak in an herbal whirlpool bath of eucalyptus, pine, wild flowers or chamomile essences with views of the garden followed by an aromatherapy massage.

No matter what treatment you decide on at Alvarado, it certainly will be VIP service combined with the best in spa technology.  “We offer our guests an experience, not just a treatment,” explains Michelle Kinney, spa director. “By combining the European philosophy that all treatments should be therapeutic, with the American preference for pampering, we designed services to stimulate all of the senses and provide personalized touches not usually found in spas today. For example, a gentle, aromatic foot bath, a European ritual, enhances many of our massages and body services, providing a deeper level of relaxation and making our guests feel that they are indeed special and cared for.” Now that’s royal treatment Royal Palms style!

T.Cook’s Restaurant

After a long day of sightseeing or business meetings, you want to be certain you will have a good meal. Under the direction of Executive Chef Lee Hillson, T.Cook’s at Royal Palms offers one of Scottsdale’s best restaurants.  Enjoying Mediterreanean inspired cuisine among a dramatic décor of a 1930’s fireplace, views of Camelback Mountain and vaulted wooden ceilings is a perfect way to tantalize your senses.

For a late-night Happy Hour nightcap, slide up to the 30-foot cherry wood bar at T.Cook’s lounge and sip on well-crafted cocktails, wine or beer. Many nights live music is played on the elegant black baby grand piano.

Whether you’re in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area for the culture, shopping or commerce, Royal Palms Resort & Spa is the obvious choice to stay that offers a historical setting, first-class amenities and attentive service.
