An Evening of Nutrition and Pampering Celebrated at The Vital Juice Pop-Up Wellness Retreat

Celebrities and wellness fans alike gathered at the Sunset Marquis in West Hollywood on April 9th to enjoy a retreat filled with pampering, Om’ing, and refreshments. The Vital Juice Pop-Up Wellness Retreat was an eventful day that included massages, workouts, and yoga plus nutritional consultations, and facials.

The day was set to satisfy everyone’s thirst for a healthy life and ended with an evening of healthy cocktails. Partnered with Glaceau Smartwater, Reebok, YogaWorks, The Fresh Diet, Yummie Tummie, and Jana Klauer, M.D., guests went home with a bag of goodies that included food, workouts, massages, and much more.

Among the guests who attended the retreat were stars like actresses Mary Carey, Jennifer Gimenez, and May Wang, model, Eve Mauro, The Office’s Oscar Nuñez, and daredevil, Bridgetta Tomarchio.

The Healthy Bag

Everyone at the retreat received a bag that included 2 Pirates Booty bags, $10 off a Yummie Tummie product, Ginger and Liz discount cards, pieces of Q.Bel chocolates, Adina for Life tea and water drinks, a 3-pack of eBoost, package of YumNuts, Smartwater, Kiss My Face toothpaste and hand créme, Peeled Snacks cherry snacks, and a couple of LARABARs.

Not only did they partner with Vital Juice to put on the retreat, they were on hand to give away some of their own healthy treats. Smartwater gave away a water supply and nutritional consultations. Allowing guests to demo their new EasyTone sneakers was Reebok who also gave away exercises.

YogaWorks gave away two yoga classes and for two hours during the retreat, they even gave yoga consultations. Guests got to sample Omega-3 smoothies from Jana Klauer, M.D., food from Fresh Diet, and a product demo from Yummie Tummie.

One psychic question and a sample of their anti-aging powder were given by Psychic Girl. Dermalogica gave guests free face mapping and sampling. The colorful Ginger and Liz polishes allowed guests to relax with all their healthy treats while getting manicures and pedicures. Samples of nut butter were provided by Nuttzo. A free dance class was given away by Illyse Baker which is meant to get people to lose weight while moving to music. Another new form of working out was shown in the rope workout demo from Adam Ernster. Dancing Spiral gave away sound therapy treatments.

The sponsors not only gave away gifts to eat, drink, or workout healthy, but also breathing techniques like the breastwork sessions from Jenny Miller. Demos of power plates that tone and remove cellulite were also on display from Power Plates themselves. Guests were pampered with mini facials from Sunset Marquis Spa, the housing sponsors of the wellness retreat. YogaEarth sampled some of their best pre- and post-yoga drinks to make yoga sessions even better. Tea samples were given away by Breville, gift bag items by Beyond Yoga, chair massages from T Spheres and their aromatherapy-infused massage balls, and energy readings from Mony Vital.
