They may not have gone home with an Emmy Award on Sunday night, but Distinctive Assets is consoling all of the non-winning nominees in the 12 major acting categories with a “consolation” gift basket.

The basket was given to the nominees on Monday, September 22, 2008 – the day after the 60th Annual Emmy Awards telecast – and included gifts from a large range of companies including Leaine Dehmer Clinical Skincare, The Sports Club/LA, Heelarious, The Flat Belly Diet, CARGO Cosmetics, Color Me House, Roverdog 8 Productions, Huntley Drive Fitness, Universal Botanicals, Tommy Bahama Ultra-Premium Rum, Torn Ranch, SKINEEZ SKINCAREWEAR, The Experts’ Guide to 100 Things Everyone Should Know How to Do, William C. About Distinctive Assets:

Ever wonder just how the tradition for over-the-top swag began at all the major award shows, including the American Music Awards, the GRAMMY®s, the Latin GRAMMY®s. Academy of Country Music, HBO Comedy Festival, and Kid’s Choice Awards, among others? Distinctive Assets is one of the first companies to begin that craze, and they are delighted to continue the tradition – which began in 2003- of acknowledging so many talented non-winning Emmy nominees.
