On Friday night , the two-time FIFA World Cup Brazilian soccer captain, Cafu, was hanging out with a group of guys and drinking Hennessy, at the trendy lounge in NYC, Catch-22. Cafu came in with 8 handsome male friends and sat in the back right corner on the ground floor for the majority of the evening.
They were laughing amongst each other, dancing and clearly having a good time, while drinking Hennessy and Moet & Chandon cocktails.
The boys night out looked like a huge success and the captain from the Brazilian National soccer team was all smiles until the early hours of the morning.
Friday night, Joan Allen, star of the soon to be released film Death Race, was dining at the newest lounge in NYC, Catch-22. Joan came in with 6 male and female friends and sat upstairs in the VIP lounge. They shared some tapas and enjoyed a bottle of champagne. The group did not drink much and Joan only sipped on a glass of champagne all night. The whole group definitely had “dance fever” as they did not stop dancing from the time they arrived until they left late in the evening. Before leaving, the group thanked the manager for “a wonderful night” and promised they would be back soon.
After a summer off, the infamous Hennessy Jazz Nights have finally returned! Sunday night, Hennessy reintroduced their Jazz Night at The Kress in Hollywood. The world class Miles Mosley Jazz Band rocked the house and had guests dancing and singing into early Monday morning.
Jamie Foxx came out for the celebration following his guest appearance at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards!
Wilmer Valderrama, a strong supporter of the Hennessy Jazz Night, showed his support with a small group of male and female friends. The group sat in a booth listening to Miles Mosley and drinking Hennessy Mojito cocktails until 1am.
Shawn and Marlon Wayans and Apple (from the Black Eyed Peas) were also in attendance.
Cocktails served during the night included Hennessy Ginger and Hennessy Mojito.
The recipes
Hennessy Ginger
1.5 oz Hennessy VS
3.5 oz Ginger ale
Dash of Angostura bitters
Twist of orange peel
Pour ingredients in an ice filled rocks glass, add twist of orange peel,
stir and serve.
Hennessy Sidecar
1.5 oz Hennessy VS
1/4 oz Grand Marnier
1/2 oz Fresh lemon juice
Garnish with lemon slice
Shake ingredients with ice and strain in to sugar rimmed martini glass.
Hennessy Mojito
1.5 oz Hennessy VS
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
1/4 oz simple syrup
4-5 fresh mint leaves
Smack mint in palm of hand to release flavor. Pour all ingredients
including mint in to shaker, add ice and shake. Strain in to rocks glass.
Garnish with fresh mint.
