Celebrity photographer Olivier Pojzman – who has shot Hilary Duff, Paris Hilton and others for InStyle and Paris Match magazines – will be debuting his 15-foot on canvas fine art shots of Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Hermosa Beach and Malibu beachscapes at the James Coleman Gallery on September 6, 2008. He uses forced perspective to stretch the 180 degree capacity of the human field of sight to a minimum of 250 degrees.
The photos add a more painterly feel with the canvas medium, while also translating the immensity of the American landscape into 2 dimensions.
Presented by the luxury real estate magazine SPACE magazine, he is debuting the exhibition on September 6th with an opening celebration being held from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. You can catch his exhibition from September 6 – 25, 2008 at the James Coleman Gallery, located at 1431 Ocean Blvd. in Santa Monica. Proceeds from the sales of the works will be benefiting the non-profit organization, Heal the Bay.
