L.A. Parent Magazine and Universal Citywalk Host a Safe Halloween

Devoted to providing a safe environment for the kiddies, Universal Citywalk has teamed up with L.A. Parent magazine to present it’s annual "Spook-tacular" from 4:00 to 8:00pm on October 31st for Halloween.

Featuring trick-or-treating, costume contests and entertainment for kids of all ages, the Universal Citywalk celebration will provide a safe trick-or-treating option and it is a great way to enjoy the autumn holiday with the entire family.

City Walk Hollywood 

The costume contest will award the the best costumes of the night, live entertainment provides a spooky background and Universal Studios provides plenty of scary characters to keep everyone in the mood. Be sure to make registration for the contest from 5 to 6pm and the contest itself starts at 6:30.

If you are looking for something a little spookier this halloween be sure to check out Universal Studios Hollywood for it’s Halloween Horror Nights. For ten nights only you have the chance to rub elbows with the likes of Freddy, Jason and Leatherface. They won’t be there every night, only the spooky nights of October 5-6, 12-13, 19-20, 26-28 and of course October 31st. This event is not recommended for children under 13.

City Walk Hollywood Halloween 

Universal Studios Hollywood is not just for the spooks, they offer a movie-based theme park, tours of their Studios, the Citywalk with shopping, dining, a cinema, and the Gibson Amphitheater venue.

The theme park features attractions (some spooky all year round) like "Revenge of the Mummy" and the "Jurassic Park ride", as well as some a little tamer for the young ones. Check out the Shrek 4-D attraction, or go on a behind the scenes tour of TV and movie sets like the set of "War of the Worlds." In the spring 2008 Universal Studios presents it’s attraction based on The Simpsons movie.

The CityWalk at Universal Studios boasts over 60 restaurants, nightclubs and shops. The cinema is 16 screens strong and proud to be one of the largest IMAX® venues, easy to enjoy in their newly renovated stadium seating.
