West Hollywood is gearing up for it’s annual Halloween Costume Carnaval. Celebrating it’s 20th year, the Carnaval will be held on October 31st from 6 pm to midnight and will take place on Santa Monica Boulevard from Doheny Drive to La Cienega Blvd. Referred to as the "World’s Largest Street Party," the Halloween Costume Carnaval will offer live entertainment, food vendors, celebrity appearances and an anything goes atmosphere for those who want to dress up and party in West Hollywood.
As the second largest event in Los Angeles, organizers are expecting 1/2 million participants to come out and celebrate the 20-year anniversary of this unique festival. As it always draws the Hollywood crowd, past Carnavals have seen the likes of Ryan Seacrest, Kathy Griffin, Pink, Jane Wiedlin of the Go Go’s, Kevin Federline and other recognizable faces in the crowd.
Prior to the main event, Halloween lovers can enjoy a Halloween Youth Carnival on October 27th, a doggy costume contest on October 28th and a "Drag" Race & Pageant on October 28th.
