The Los Angeles Korean Festival Foundation presents its 34th Annual Festival at Seoul International Park located at  3250 San Marino Street, Los Angeles, CA 90006.  The normal hours of operation will be 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM with free admission.

This year’s festivities begin at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 13 with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony at 6:00 PM.  The program for the next three days include dance, voice and talent competitions, comedic performances, cultural presentations, fashion shows, a pageant competition, a carnival, and musical performances by popular artists from South Korea.

Highlights of the festival include major concerts, a business expo and an international food court and beer garden.

The Parade takes place at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 15, and is the highlight of the festival.  It will take place along Olympic Boulevard from Vermont Avenue to Western Avenue, traveling westbound.  The Parade will feature state, county and city officials, churches, local schools and organizations, community activists and the Festival’s sponsors upon impressive floats and creative displays.

The Los Angeles Korean Festival provides an opportunity for the local community to celebrate the over 200 diverse nationalities and cultures that work or reside in the greater Los Angeles area.  Attracting local, national and international attendees and participants, last year’s Festival boasted an audience of over 350,000.  This year’s Festival is expected to attract an even larger crowd due to extensive coverage by major Korean language television, newspaper and radio outlets.

The Los Angeles Korean Festival Foundation (LAKFF) is a nonprofit organization committed to enriching the lives of community members and neighbors by advocating more awareness and understanding of the Korean culture and traditions.  LAKFF is dedicated to promoting racial awareness and harmony while celebrating the diverse makeup of the City of Los Angeles.
