Old Hollywood glamour reigned supreme at the Jeffrey R. Gund, InfoList.com, and the Australian Institute of Dramatic Arts (AIDA) party on Saturday, July 14th. Guests came dressed as their favorite classic Hollywood starlets while sipping cocktails and tasting appetizers at Memphis, the last-standing Victorian style mansion on Hollywood Blvd.Memphis Mansion Sign

The theme was solidified as party goers walked onto the Memphis grounds. The Victorian mansion was complete with dark cherry wood interior and crimson velour chairs. On each of the tables were giveaways courtesy of LA.com including a CozmoDeck. Each card in the deck functions as $15 off of some of LA’s best and hottest restaurants including Dolce, Geisha House, Blowfish Sushi, and the Sonora Café.  Many people also enjoyed the cool summer breeze and the projection of black and white images on the front porch.

Memphis Mansion HistoryCurrently, the Memphis Mansion serves as a restaurant with fine Southern cuisine. The delicious appetizers ranged from Southern style hush puppies to spicy buffalo wings. Along with the tasty treats, attendees drank a new mixed drink courtesy of Trump Vodka and Motley Bird Energy Drinks.
