Summoning the long ago era of singer/songwriters Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan and Crosby Stills and Nash, chris and thomas bring their impressive harmonies to a familiar sound. Returning to the scene of their first L.A show, chris and thomas will be playing at the Hotel Café on June 26.

Like their British forefathers, this indie folk duo met at the same art school in Liverpool where John Lennon and Paul McCartney began their legendary partnership.  Now in the states, chris and thomas are creating a name for themselves, most notably by winning the 2006 Best Song of the Year (Americana category) at the Independent Music Awards for "Take These Thoughts."

Their full-length debut, Land of Sea, was recorded with accomplished producer/engineer Mark Howard who has previously worked with Bob Dylan, U2 and Tom Waits.  While their first recorded venture has already been released in the UK, fans in the U.S will have to wait until August of this year to pick it up.

Most recently, chris and thomas collaborated with Oscar nominated composer John Debney to write the title song for the Garry Marshall directed film, Georgia Rule starring Lindsay Lohan and Jane Fonda.

Singing chris and thomas’ praises are, Nic Harcourt of 89.9 KCRW in L.A who said, Land of Sea is "One of my favorite indie releases of the year", while The Sun in the UK stated, "Breezing in with a ravishing exhibition of acoustic loveliness come chris and thomas, two ultra talented dudes with mellow voices that complement each other perfectly."
