TAG Jeans Shows Fall/Winter Line at Area

Red Carpets. Palm Trees. Sunny skies. These are the hallmarks of Los Angeles. But L.A. has another calling card: denim. If you didn’t know it before you do know, L.A. is the denim capitol of the world. One of the hottest lines out there, TAG Jeans, proved why all of young Hollywood is clamoring to get their hands on it when they showed their superb Fall/Winter collection last Monday night during LA Fashion Week.

Hipster hotspot Area played host as models rocked the jeans down the runway for over 350 VIP guests, including young Hollywood and the international media. Seeing some of today’s young rising stars ‘shaking it’ to hip hop and rock infused pop beats on the dance floor in their sexy TAG’s, showed just how significant blue denim is when it comes to expressing one’s sense of urban-chic self in LA.

For the runway show, models done up with big hair strutted in sexy tops paired with TAG’s premium denim jeans, shorts and skirts. All showcased the line’s superior, decorative stitching, custom-designed washes, signature buttons, sexy but comfortable designs and urban chic cuts. In the background, 80’s rock-pop tunes blared from the speakers. It was a show to celebrate L.A.’s culture as the soul of the internationally popular denim couture trend.

Orly Dahan, spokesman for the design team of TAG, has spent over 25 years in L.A. in pursuit of creating the perfect jean, working alongside his business partner Raphael Sabbah, his wife, fashionista and designer Michele, and TAG’s newest addition, designer Iskander. Dahan said he was proud to be celebrating LA Fashion Week with young and upcoming stars of Hollywood, international media and friends and family:

“TAG Jeans exists to make women and men feel sexy, comfortable, confident and stylishly relaxed in our jeans and premium cuts of denim. Last night we truly celebrated the essence of TAG Jeans philosophy of fashion – fun, glamour and all of the things that make LA denim couture a phenomena all around the world. It is exciting to be a part of such energy in fashion, entertainment, music, superior fashion design and quality craftsmanship from our city that distributes American denim all over the world.”

Celebrities who wear TAG Jeans include, Eva Longoria, Nicolette Sheridan, Tyra Banks, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Lyndsay Lohan, Naomi Campbell, Pamela Anderson, Hilary Swank, Vanessa Minillo, Jessica Simpson and Lauren Conner, just to name a few.

TAG Jeans are sold globally across Japan, Far East Asia, Europe; Greece, England, Spain, France, Italy, the Middle East, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Lebanon and Israel. The US remains TAG Jeans’ biggest fans, being the label’s leading buyers of hip to date.
