Fashionistas rejoiced in late September when the Fashion Day Soiree charity shopping event opened its doors at The Highlands Club. A fashion show, giveaways and incredible discounts on the season’s must-have clothing and accessories awaited eager shoppers of all ages.

FashionDaySoiree.jpgEarly bird shoppers got up early doors opened at 9:30am to stock up on the best selections and discounts on the hottest styles in clothing, fashion accessories, handbags, jewelry, and lifestyle services. The Highlands Club, located in the famous Hollywood & Highland shopping center, was decked out in lavish style fit for the numerous style princesses in attendance. The event also included fabulous drawings, indulgent massages and beauty treatments and a fashion show.

This year’s event in Los Angeles featured clothing and accessories from boutiques and product lines including Adiqshun by Orly Star (as seen on Britney Spears), Knot Knit, Rudechix, Aqua Poni, DeLaLuna Designs, Mark Alexandre, LizPotion, Butterfly Creation Jewelry, Rouge 2 Jewelry, Dust makeup, Beauty Intuition, Too Faced Cosmetics, Prissy Girl Boutique, Girl Foolish, and many, many others. Coveted designer brands like 575 Denim, Seven, Hudson, Frankie B., Arden B., and BCBG were snatched up in record speed by bargain-hunting shoppers.

Fashion Day Soiree, presented by Pricilla Thomas of Dolce Vita Events, brings together new and emerging designers and fashion companies along with established stores and boutiques to offer trendy fashion products usually available to only the Hollywood elite. Holding shopping events 2-3 times a year in different metropolitan cities and upscale locales, Fashion Day Soiree allows its general public attendees the chance to shop in an exclusive all inclusive environment, receiving discounts, promo give-away, spa & beauty treatments, and the chance to shop for a good cause as a portion of proceeds benefit a different women or children’s charity each year.

In September of 2006, Fashion Day Soiree chose The Denise Roberts Breast Cancer Foundation as this year’s beneficiary. They were chosen for their outstanding outreach to low-income, underprivileged, and minority women who may be at risk for breast cancer.
