7th Annual True Blue Event Honors LAPD and TNT’s “The Closer”

The Los Angeles Police Foundation is hosting it’s 7th Annual “True Blue” Event, Oct. 21st, as a tribute to the men and women of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and those who support them. The evening will showcase the Crystal Angel Awards presentation to the four police officers who have demonstrated outstanding community service. The cast of TNT?s hit police drama, ?The Closer? will also be honored for their support of our men and women in law enforcement. It is taking place on Paramount Studios ?Streets of New York? in Hollywood. The Crystal Angel award recipients in attendance will be Reserve Officer Ellen Kanda, Central Traffic Division; Officer Kathy McAnany, Central Division; * Officer Gary Ross, West Traffic Division; and Officer Mandy Serrano, Rampart Division. The event will feature a full bar, wine tasting, epicurean fare, and lavish buffets displays. A silent auction featuring many one-of-a-kind items, ranging from a dinner with Police Chief Bratton and his wife Rikki Klieman, to two first-class tickets to anywhere in the world courtesy of Delta Air Lines. Guests will also have the chance take tours and see demonstrations from unique LAPD units such as the SWAT team, Cold Case detectives, and K9 and Equine Units. Los Angeles Police Chief William J. Bratton will be in attendance as well as film industry supporters, celebrities, and community/business leaders. The 7th Annual True Blue event is open to the public. Tickets are $300.00 per person.
