The Emmy’s are just around the corner and there’s no better way to celebrate the world of television than with a great bash. For the past 10 years, Entertainment Tonight has honored their medium with what has been called one of the "hottest tickets" in town.  This year will surely be no different, with the exception of the party’s location.  Changing things up a bit, the 11th Annual Entertainment Tonight Emmy Party will be held at the Frank Gehry designed Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 16th.

For the fourth year, People Magazine will once again team up with ET to sponsor this special evening.  Following a week of reporting from both entertainment powerhouses, with a special People Magazine Hollywood Daily edition which is an industry-insider’s guide to the most anticipated week in TV, the party will include Emmy winners and nominees, stars of television, film and music, network and studio executives, and opinion makers in entertainment, publishing and fashion.

As the Walt Disney Concert Hall has had a hand in making downtown L.A a major destination area, with trendy night spots Golden Gopher, Edison Bar, Broadway Bar and La Cita just down the road, it only makes sense that this architectural masterpiece would be home to a party honoring what L.A is all about – entertainment.

Once inside, guests will have the opportunity to experience the entire 59th Annual Emmy Awards telecast on LG high-definition plasma screens in the uniquely designed Larry Abel De-Signs setting.  While viewing the show, entertainment’s elite will enjoy specialty drinks prepared in honor of the evening’s event such as Entertain-mint Mojitos, A-List Twists and Paparazzi Punch.  Accompanying the tasty beverages will be inspired cuisine consisting of, but not limited to Blinis with caviar and crème fraiche, Mini-smoked scallop burgers, Beef tenderloin with roasted garlic and Yellowtail snapper with a passion fruit buerre blanc sauce prepared by renowned Chef Joachim Splichal and Patina Catering.

Since the event will be held at a music hall, it stands to reason that live performances will be part of the itinerary, as a surprise Grammy award-winning headliner (to be announced at a later date) will perform in BP Hall. In addition, famed KCRW DJ Jason Bentley, recognized over consecutive years by the LA Weekly and The New Times as the "Best DJ in Los Angeles," will keep the party lively from behind the turntables. Bentley is known for breaking such artists as Gnarls Barkley, Jamiroquai and The Chemical Brothers, among others.

Godiva Chocolatier will make Emmy night even sweeter at this year’s ET/People celebration. A decadent chocolate adorned tree will offer guests the opportunity to taste some of their favorite treats, freshly dipped in decadent Godiva chocolate.  An indulgent display will include fresh strawberries, fruit dessert cups, brownies, macaroons, marshmallows and more all drizzled in Godiva chocolate. A Godiva Truffletini bar will be located alongside the sumptuous display. The LG Lounge will give guests an opportunity to experience their favorite Emmy-nominated shows on the VX9400 Mobile TV phone by LG. At the Maybelline New York/Garnier Beauty Bar, guests will be able to indulge in brief consultations and can take home cosmetic and skincare beauty products.  Keeping with the tradition of providing Emmy season’s most coveted gift bag, guests will leave the ET/PEOPLE Emmy Party with a specially designed, sustainable, eco-friendly Cole Haan bag.  This gift bag will be filled with an array of high-end products from such brands as Crabtree & Evelyn, YogaWorks, Gal Pal, Rachael Ray Cookware, CBS Home Entertainment, Simon & Schuster, Pier 1 Imports, C.O. Bigelow, massage and beauty gift certificates and more. Guests will be treated to 100% Colombian Iced Coffee in the outdoor space during the event. Capping off the night, there will be a 100% Colombian Coffee station at the valet for guests departing the party.
