Beautiful People

Brandi CBrandi C. is known to most as a life size Barbie doll wildly struggling to win Bret Michael’s love on the hit VH1 TV show “Rock of Love.” Born in New Jersey, Brandi always knew she was meant to be in the spotlight. Everywhere she goes, she’s noticed. Is it the platinum blonde locks? Perhaps…

VH1’s “Rock of Love” was Brandi’s first entertainment industry experience since her devastating car accident in Los Angeles. Briefly mentioned on the show, she was left with a number of facial stitches that she has since repaired. Prior to “Rock of Love,” she was in a film with none other than Mr. Tommy Chong. Now, “Rock of Love” has set the stage for Brandi to become an unforgettable reality star.  In the first episode, she had convinced America that she has her whole own show going on – commanding the audience and giving them a glimpse into her world sex, partying, and… more sex.  Her crazy antics on the show made her a sure-fire star, and everyone is just waiting to see what she does next with her career. Oh, why did Bret Michaels let her go so soon? Was she really just too free a spirit? We’ll see!

Sabrina SloanAmerican Idol’s Sabrina Sloan discovered her love for entertainment at a very early age. By the wee age of three, Sloan was already performing and singing in school and church kids’ choirs. She began studying piano three years later and continued playing the ivories through the beginning of high school. Following high school, Sloan moved to Illinois to attend Northwestern University. After graduating, Sloan moved to New York just a week after the 9/11 tragedies to further pursue an entertainment career. In September 2002, Sloan’s immense talent was realized and she was cast in the Broadway hit “Hairspray.” She went on tour with the show twice.

After watching American Idol on television, Sloan decided to take the plunge and audition for the show. She progressed to the Hollywood round but unfortunately, one week before the Hollywood week competition, Sloan was involved in a devastating car accident.  She had been hit by a truck that ran a red light.  Sloan was rushed to the hospital with a black eye, nose contusion, fractured ribs, sprained ankle, and puncture wound. In spite of her pain, she made it through the Hollywood round and to the top 16. Sloan’s exit from American Idol left many fans and viewers in shock. Sloan’s departure was neither warranted nor expected.
