In celebration and anticipation of the release of the Baywatch movie this summer, Madame Tussauds Hollywood announces that it will immortalize Zac Efron in wax, shirtless and sporting ripped abs, as his character from the Baywatch movie, lifeguard Matt Brody. We’ve got a special sneak preview to Zac Efron’s wax figure from Madame Tussauds Hollywood.
Baywatch pop culture phenomenon has gone global over the past two decades, since it was first launched on the beaches of L.A. Since LA is where Baywatch was born, Madame Tussauds Hollywood is planning to transform part of its entrance on Hollywood Boulevard into a permanent installation celebrating Baywatch, past and present. The new Baywatch entrance is slated to be completed later this year.
One of the original Baywatch’s cast members, actress and TV host Carmen Electra will do the honors and officially reveal Zac Efron’s wax figure for the first time at press event on Wednesday, July 12 at 12 PM at Madame Tussauds Hollywood at 6933 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles.
Each figure takes a team of 20 artists and sculptors at Madame Tussauds in the U.K. 3-4 months to create and is valued at more than $350,000.
Carmen Electra will be joined by four hot hunks from Australia’s ‘Thunder from Down Under’, who will reveal their own ripped abs. Hailing from the popular male revue, one of Las Vegas’ most popular shows thrills 250,000 women a year at The Excalibur Hotel & Casino where they provide the ultimate girls’ night in the Outback.
Australia’s Thunder From Down Under also entertains women around the world with its two international touring troupes and has attracted more than 4 million fans worldwide to their shows. The Aussie hunks have appeared on top national TV shows including The Today Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Wendy Williams & Project Runway.
