Hard Rock’s Run Hard Rock Cafe 5K/10K, to benefitMy Friend’s Place, takes to the streets of Los Angeles for the 4th year in a row, on Saturday, November 5th. In an unprecidented style, Hard Rock will blend iconic Hollywood with iconic music in a one-of-a-kind interactive experience featuring bands, musicians and DJs along the course.

In honor of November’s National Runaway and Homeless Youth Awareness Month, a portion of proceeds from everyRun Hard Rock Cafe registration fee will benefit My Friend’s Place, a local nonprofit dedicated to assisting and inspiring homeless youth to build self-sufficient lives. The organization’s headquarters, situated on the race course, make its location and Hollywood community affiliation an integral part of Run Hard Rock Cafe 5K/10K.
Last year, more than 2,200 runners took to the road on the 3.1/6.2 mile course, which passes by iconic Hollywood locations such as the TCL Chinese Theater, El Capitan, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, Capitol Records, W Hollywood and the Pantages Theater.
Hard Rock is partnering with Jive Live Entertainment, Los Angeles’ premier authority on race production, to produce the USA Track & Field (USATF) Certified Course race.
“Music is the heart of Hard Rock, so for the first time, we’re incorporating this passion into Run Hard Rock Cafe 5K/10K with music all along the course,” said Selin Demren, Regional Sales & Marketing Manager of Hard Rock Cafe North America West locations. “It’s important for us to pay homage to some of music’s greats while sharing an immersive music experience with our runners.”
Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood on Hollywood Blvd. will also be open post-race for celebratory food and drinks. Two exclusive Hard Rock Cafe Collector’s 2016 Race Pins will also be available for purchase with a portion of proceeds benefiting My Friend’s Place.
