Brunchfast‘ to go? The idea may sound like an oxymoron but one forward-thinking brand is making diner’s dreams a reality. This week in Los Angeles, Jack himself, and his lovely wife, made the announcement that Jack in the Box is now serving “Brunchfast”, a new menu category at Jack in the Box that is designed to make the brunch experience available to customers any time the craving strikes, not just in the morning or on the weekend.

Jack in the Box, who developed America’s first on-the-go breakfast sandwich in 1969, was offering breakfast all day while everyone else was done before noon, gave night owls more late-night dining options with Jack’s Munchie Meals®, and is applying that same spirit of innovation to brunch.

The San Diego-based restaurant chain, with over 2,200 locations in the U.S and Guam, has never been afraid to take the lead when it comes to offering one of a kind dining options without sacrificing convenience. While breakfast items have become a staple in the industry, brunch has stayed off the menu.

Jack in the Box is the first to make the flavors most commonly associated with the leisurely pace of a Sunday morning available to busy diners seven days a week.

You may be asking yourself, what, or who, inspired Jack in the Box to make brunch available 24-7? The answer to that question, which may surprise you, can be found in Jack’s latest commercial.

The Brunchfast menu is available all day long at participating Jack in the Box restaurants. You can learn more about Brunchfast at jackinthebox.com. Talk back to Jack on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Vine, using the hashtag #Brunchfast.

Brunchfast features three distinct entrees that strike the perfect balance between breakfast and lunch:

The Brunch Burger – Jack in the Box is synonymous with great burgers and the Brunch Burger continues that tradition. A mouth watering beef patty and hickory smoked bacon taste right at home on a buttery croissant. A fried egg, mayo, and American cheese add even more flavor.

The Bacon & Egg Chicken Sandwich – Jack’s Homestyle crispy chicken fillet is the centerpiece of this imaginative take on an old fashioned breakfast favorite; bacon and eggs. Served on a toasted English muffin with cheddar cheese and bacon, this unique pairing of chicken, hickory smoked bacon and a fried egg is savory and satisfying.

Looking for brunch fun without the bun? The Southwest Scrambler turns up the heat on scrambled eggs with peppers, green chiles, and spicy pepper jack cheese. It comes with your choice of hickory smoked bacon or sausage and a tasty croissant.
