PERVERSE Sunglasses had their first annual iconGIRL event honoring Special Olympics gold medalist Lucy Meyer. They are proud to partner with Lucy and are honored to call Lucy our first-ever Icon GIRL, because she has sparked a movement by moving through obstacles and moving others into action.
Lucy Meyer is an Official Spokesperson of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF – Special Olympics Partnership, the U.S. Fund for UNICEF’s Spokesperson for Children with Disabilities, and a Special Olympics Gold Medalist in Swimming.
Lucy and Toni Ko introduced the PERVERSE + Team Lucy Meyer sunglasses to the world at a private event where guests viewed a great video premiering the iconGIRL program, and their commitment to donate 100% of the sales of iconGIRL sunglasses to the charity of Lucy’s choice.
Since the inception of PERVERSE sunglasses, their special goal was to award extraordinary girls and guys who are overcoming obstacles in their lives and making a difference in the world. The PERVERSE team met Lucy at a UNICEF luncheon where Lucy was the guest speaker, and knew immediately that her achievements, positive spirit, and passion for helping other children made her a perfect fit for the Icon Initiative.
Last week, friend and supporters gathered together at a cool poolside BBQ with food and drinks at a private residence in Bel Air to celebrate Lucy and all of her uplifting achievements including her help in designing a limited edition pair of PERVERSE Sunglasses. 100% of all sales from these glasses go to the cause closest to her heart – UNICEF.
Lucy designed special edition PERVERSE Sunglasses as this year’s iconGIRL, the Lucy Meyer Exclusive Limited Edition. perversesunglasses.com
