Cash for your car

We stopped into Yalla Mediterranean in Culver City to see what all the hype was about this great restaurant concept for ourselves, and let it be said right here and now, Yalla did not disappoint. The moment you enter this restaurant you are greeted with fun, flavor, and flare. A comparison that comes to mind when approaching the counter to place your order is Chipotle Mexican Grill meets traditional Mediterranean.

Yalla Mediterranean Restaurant Culver City

With a multiple step process in building your own delectable cuisine, with the assistance of a very cordial staff-member, the experience is both pleasurable and rewarding.

As you help build your masterpiece of flavor, your eyes can’t help but focus on the variety of menu items to pick from, with flavors inspired from Greece, Morocco, Turkey, Lebanon, Israel, Tunisia and Egypt.

You start by choosing your style, whether it be a Wrap (choice of traditional toppings, spreads & sauces), a Power Greens Salad (kale, balsamic apricots, toasted almonds, feta cheese, lemon vinaigrette), perhaps a Fattoush Salad (Romaine, cabbage, radish, tomato, cucumber, garbanzo beans, olives, red onion, pita chips, vinaigrette) or a Plate (basmati rice & seasonal vegetable or spiced lentils, which includes up to three sides and pita).

Second, you are to pick one of your ‘Favorites,’ which consists of either Falafel (house made, GMO free chickpea fritters), Chicken Skewers (all natural chicken breast, fresh herbs, & spices), Chicken Shawarma (slow roasted with Lebanese spices), Steak Skewers (hormone free, harissa marinated Tri Tip), Shalafel (half chicken Shawarma & half Falafel), Salmon Skewers (wild caught, fresh herbs & spices), or Kefta Skewers (Turkish spiced ground lamb & beef).

The experience continues with you being afforded the opportunity to add side items, a multitude of traditional toppings, and a variety of spreads and sauces that only makes for an unforgettable, casual dining experience, with a touch of class.

To use their slogan, it truly is a “farm to fork” experience.

Oh, and be sure to try their frozen Greek yogurt, topped with homemade Baklava for desert. Decadent and delicious!

Yalla has gone Green! From their 100% compostable packaging, napkins, straws, utensils and cups to their salvaged wood décor, they’re committed to leaving the smallest possible footprint while still delivering the tastiest, healthiest food around.
