An intimate weekend fundraiser to benefit children in Los Angeles-area domestic violence shelters
Present Now, the Los Angeles non-profit organization that provides gifts for babies, children and teens entering and living in transitional and crisis domestic violence shelters, is proud to announce its second annual women’s getaway, January 23 and 24, 2016, at the luxurious Riviera Hotel in Palm Springs.
At the inaugural women’s getaway event in 2015, Present Now raised more than $100,000 to fund its Presents Program, which gives children care-packages of age-appropriate gifts throughout the year in shelters across the Los Angeles area.
This intimate, bond-building weekend will include variety of activities:
- A poolside trunk show of designer goods such as jewelry, handbags and clothing, on Saturday, January 23, from 12AM-4PM, including Alexander Gray Optical, 9seed
Silk & Rocks, Zofia Day and Pamela Brown.
- Evening cocktails, a silent auction featuring sports and concerts tickets and more, and dinner, music and entertainment.
- Morning yoga/Pilates sessions on the lawn at 9AM on Sunday, January 24.
