Former “Dancing With the Stars” pro and guest judge Maksim Chmerkovskiy popped the question to Peta Murgatroyd, who just wrapped up the latest season of the DWTS earlier this month, on December 5th.
Maks proposed to Peta onstage in front of 1,500 people following their performance of “Sway: A Dance Trilogy” at the Olympia Theater, in Miami last night. It was an incredible experience for Maks and Peta to be surrounded by their family, close friends and fans who shared in their happiness.
Maks designed a custom Cantamessa engagement ring for his beloved Peta. “For years I knew Peta is the one for me. She is the perfect fit with my family and she has made me a very happy man”, said Maks.”
“I couldn’t have been more surprised. Maks romantic proposal is something I will cherish for the rest of my life. I’m excited for the next chapter in our lives and to plan the wedding of my dreams with Maks”, said Peta.
