Restaurant Week Uncorked is a new feature held the Wednesday & Thursday nights before the first night of Restaurant Week, where participating restaurants offer specialty-themed dinners, where every course will be paired with a different wine, beer, or spirit.

VillageFest: Thursday nights, 6-10 p.m. Downtown Palm Springs transforms into a diverse array of artists, artisans, entertainers, and purveyors of fresh fruits and veggies, flowers, jewelry, snacks and sweets. Add all that to the great shops, restaurants, clubs, and entertainment venues located along World Famous Palm Canyon Drive – and the result is one of Southern California’s most popular weekly events.

Free Thursday Nights: Palm Springs Art Museum, 4-8 p.m. This provides an excellent way to start a trip to the City’s VillageFest.

PS Int’l Short Film Festival, June 17-23 The Palm Springs International ShortFest, Short Film Festival & Film Market, one of the most acclaimed short film showcases in the world will showcase over 300 short films from more than 50 countries.

Drum Circle at Crystal Fantasy, last Friday of every month from 7-9 pm and directly across the street from Hyatt Palm Springs, Crystal Fantasy invites guests to bring a drum, a flute, or just bring a friend.

PS Air Museum Memorial Day Flower Drop, May 26, 1 pm. Each Memorial Day, the museum commemorates the important role of those who fought in World War II with a flower drop from the museum’s B-25 aircraft. Thousands of white and red carnations represent those who gave the greatest sacrifice — their lives — for their country.

Hotel Packages

Thursday in the Village Package includes a Thursday night stay and good through June 2014. Guests not only get front row center access to VillageFest but will receive a $25 food credit for the hotel’s new HooDoo lounge, which features a newly installed brick pizza oven and is the perfect place to people watch and listen to live entertainment. Prices start at $139 per night/double occupancy.

Pedal Through Palm Springs Package includes breakfast-for-two in SHARE restaurant, a map to celebrity stars located on the sidewalks of Palm Springs and daily bicycle rental for two. The one-night package, good through May 31, 2014, starts at $189 and offers savings of $50 per night.

Romance All Year Long Package includes a complimentary bottle of champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, and a playful Kama Sutra gift set to make any guest’s stay more than memorable.
