Sheldon introduced viewers to his home life and all his hard work in the kitchen. As Sheldon spoke to tourist and local customers he informed everyone how hard he would be working to win the title of Top Chef and make them all proud. Later that afternoon Sheldon introduced his family, including his three daughters and wife Janice. Sheldon expressed how he wanted to create a better life for his family and pay tribute to his hardworking grandfather.

Brooke was next and introduced her son Hudson while expressing how difficult is was to focus on the competition since she had been back home. Brooke explained how hard it was to leave her son, husband and her businesses behind as she embarked on the Top Chef journey. She also expressed how winning would make all her hard work worthwhile. Brooke and her husband Nick then shared their thoughts about the competition with Roy Choi over dinner.

The contestants were then reunited and taken to Craft restaurant in Beverly Hills to meet up with the winner of Last Chance Kitchen. The contestants arrived and were greeted by host Padma Lakshmi, Hugh Acheson and Emeril Lagasse. They were told that only two challenges stood between them and the coveted title of Top Chef. They were also reminded how each week there was another important competition taking place, Last Chance Kitchen. Each eliminated contestant was given a second chance to redeem themselves and take part in the finale. Kristen was ultimately named the winner of Last Chance Kitchen.

Sheldon, Brooke and Kristen were congratulated for their hard work and immediately told what they would be doing in their final elimination challenge. The challenge was for each of them to create a three course meal at Craft in Beverly Hills. The contestants were given 3 hours to prepare for the challenge as they headed for the kitchen and began working. Each contestant shared their thoughts on what they would be making with Brooke not being completely sure of what to create.

Each of the judges headed back to the kitchen and spoke with each of the chefs to see what they would be making for the challenge. The chefs were given words of advice and again congratulated for everything they had accomplished. Time was ticking away as the contestants rushed to finish their dishes.

The guests arrived at Craft and were ready to see what the chefs had cooked up. The chefs rushed to get their dishes out to each of the judges. As the dishes were served the judges gave their opinions on taste and presentation. Each chef had high points and low points for each of their dishes and were relieved once dinner service was over.

The judges deliberated on each of the dishes and collectively shared how they were completely satisfied over all. The chefs were then called out to the judges table and were told that only two would be moving on to compete for the coveted title of Top Chef. The judges explained to each chef exactly what they thought about each of their dishes. After hearing from the judges the chefs were sent away once last time before the decision was made. When the chefs retuned they were informed on the judge’s thoughts and Sheldon was ultimately eliminated. Brooke and Kristen were congratulated for making it to the finale as they said bye to Sheldon.
