Last week, MyFilmRocks.com launched in true Hollywood style, but instead of a red carpet, the website was heralded in with a blue carpet event. Co-founders Michael Matthews and K-Rob created MyFilmsRocks.com as a new platform set to revolutionize the world of online film festivals.

MyFilmRocks! is the brain child of techie genius Michael Matthews. Matthews set out to streamline the film festival process by taking the hassle out of competing without sacrificing the art of film. And with their simple motto: Film. Compete. Win.

Matthews and his business partner, Kevin “K-rob” Roberts are doing just that. Burgeoning filmmakers no longer need to be bogged down by a multitude of hurdles to get their film screened. With MyFilmRocks.com entrants can concentrate on what they love most, film, and leave the rest to the viewers.

Guests enjoyed music, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a brief showcase of the MyFilmRocks! platform while rubbing elbows with industry big-wigs, tastemakers, athletes, and some of Hollywood’s biggest stars. The night also featured surprise musical performances
