FLOS makes LA’s The Place THElist 2011!

Lighting should be both functional and artistic. Renowned Italian lighting manufacturer, FLOS, has perfected this concept bringing both functionality and an abstract form of art into their new product line, which is showcased in their new showroom located on the historic Robertson Blvd. Chairman and CEO of FLOS, Piero Gandini and designer Ron Gilad were both in attendance on November 29th for the grand opening of the new location.

Just in time for this Holiday season, FLOS has released new lamp designs which include: Piani (designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec), Kelvin LED Floor (designed by Antonio Citterio) and Mini Kelvin (designed by Antonio Citterio). Each design adds a hint of contemporary and abstract flare to their always sleek and streamlined shape and are designed to fit and enhance any environment. Flos prides itself on the tradition of collaborating with only the most talented design professionals to keep their signature unique and trend-setting style alive.

The new Flos Showroom located at 303 N. Robertson Blvd in Beverly Hills.

FLOS and Los Angeles based lighting company, the Diva Group, partnered to create the showroom. The Diva Group is most known for their modern and contemporary furniture and lighting so it was a natural fit for the two to combine their design senses together.

“We are looking forward to partnering with the Diva Group on this new endeavor and location for Flos,” said Jan Vingerhoets, CEO of Flos USA. “Diva’s impressive collection of modern and contemporary furniture and lighting lines and designers fits with Flos’ aesthetic perfectly.”

FLOS classics such as Arco, Taraxacum and Toio by Castiglioni, as well as new favorites such as the Wallpiercing, the Lightspring and La Linea, and the inventive Miniteca table lamp, all designed by Gilad, the Ktribe by Philippe Starck, Glo-Ball by Jasper Morrison, and Skygarden and Zeppelin suspension lamps by Marcel Wanders are only a few of the products that will be featured inside the showroom.
