GBK’s Rock N’ Royalty Gift Lounge Honored Nominees and Presenters for the 2011 American Music Awards
The exclusive gifting lounges GBK produces are platforms for celebrity, charities and businesses to come together for fun, support, promotion and a lot of great swag. The “Rock N’ Royalty-themed Gift Lounge at the SLS Hotel also honored the nominees and presenters and other distinguished musical talent for the 2011 American Music Awards.
Many actors and Hollywood personalities such as Twilight’s Bronson Pelletier, Brooke Hogan, Mike, “The Situation,” Sorrentino, ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons, Taio Cruz, Javier Colon of NBC’s “The Voice”, Chaka Khan, Melanie Amaro and Stereo Hogzz of FOX’s “The X-Factor,” “Days of our Lives’” Galen Gering, David Banner, Lil Jon, Skylar Grey and more were onhand for the celebration.
In addition to the myriad of celebrities present at the lounge, GBK gave a few up and coming musicians the opportunity to perform. The performing musicians included the GBK house band, FREQUENCY 5, pop-funk singer DeQn Sue, Angelyna Martinez, Paul Nagi, Brad Standley & The Foxflies, Stazz, JDrew and Neon Fangs. “We were fortunate to have many talented musicians and celebrities support the charities on site,” Gavin Keilly, GBK CEO said.
The charities at the GBK “Rock N’ Royalty” Lounge included:
Cuddly Bags – created by 10 year old J’Rose, which provides comfort items to children entering the foster care system. Cuddly Bags are filled with comfort items for kids who are taken from their homes with little or no belongings. The bags are intended to give the kids “something to hold on to” and give them comfort during their difficult time and transition into foster care. Also at the lounge was the Art of Peace Charitable Trust, which advocates for weapons reduction in the United States. Displayed was the beautiful angel that was crafted from melted down guns and nuclear missle casings! They gifted a limited edition California Peace Angel print, signed by the artist Lin Evola.
