Four Seasons Westlake Village Spa Exclusive: Dr. Moy’s DNA Growth Factor Facial

A Four Seasons in Westlake Village? My interest was piqued. I never heard of a Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake, much less about the largest Four Seasons spa on the planet in Westlake. When LA’s The Place invited me to check out the renowned Beverly Hills dermatologist Dr. Moy’s new DNA Growth Factor Facial, I jumped at it.

The ‘SPArty’ began in the luxury suite with a gorgeous spread of fresh fruits, gourmet cheeses and mimosas. Beauty journalists from all backgrounds were here to try out Dr. Moy’s sci-fi facial – makeup artist Mikky Bey, beauty/fashion PR Sadie Murray, Editor Chandra Bredel of Geek 4 Beauty, Karen Salkin of It’s Not About Me, and lifestyle maven Romy Raves.

As we tweeted furiously between bites of our lobster salad lunch, we were informed that the Health & Longevity Institute of Four Seasons Westlake (which works together with the spa) was not just a ‘fat farm’ as depicted on many reality shows like “Extreme Makeover” but a holistic blend of Western & Eastern medicine methods in restoring vitality.  Between the spa and the Health Institute, which are right next to each other, you could feasibly get a root canal, a massage and an acupuncture treatment all in one day.

It may be a hike from Los Angeles, but to take care of a must-do medical check up while combining it some well-deserved pampering – that’s my kind of multi-tasking personal maintenance worth the drive. Besides, the thirty-minute commute out of town makes it feel like a vacation.

Pool at Four Seasons Westlake Village

Although I could have been perfectly content to enjoy the private Jacuzzi, twelve head shower, endless champagne and a nap on the king size bed of the luxury suite, duty called and off I went to explore the Spa facilities before my Dr. Moy DNA skin treatment. The facilities, including a warm and hot dry sauna, a eucalyptus steam room and clothing optional Jacuzzi, were all immaculate and fastidiously maintained. The hair products and lotions available were deliciously scented with lemon verbena.

The DNA Growth Factor Exfoliating Facial

At last, the moment had arrived, facialist Judi Bradley escorted me to enjoy Dr. Moy’s DNA Growth Factor Exfoliating Facial exclusively available at The Spa at Four Seasons Westlake Village. Judi explained the reason why it’s getting such rave reviews for reversing skin damage and signs of age, “The amino acid glycolic peel gently removes dull surface cells and prepares the skin for infusion of the professional strength Growth Factor (made of barley grown in Iceland), paired with DNA repair enzymes and natural volcanic pumice for visibly revitalized, radiant skin.”

In layman terms, this means that Dr. Moy’s products and facial actually trick the cells into thinking their young again by growing new ones.

After 50 minutes of Judi Bradley’s expertise and Dr. Moy’s magic potion – I was positively glowing, no exaggeration. I have witnesses. My newfound gal pals commented on how dewy and renewed my skin looked.
