Hosted by famed actress television Patricia Heaton (“The Middle,” “Everybody Loves Raymond”), Vanitymark Brow Bar celebrated its opening at Stript Wax Bar in LA with a special grand opening event.

Complete with cocktails, hor d’oeuvres, pastries and pampering, the evening included brow consultations with celebrity makeup artist and founder of Vanitymark Cosmetics, Brett Freedman. In addition to the exclusive consultations, the full line of Vanitymark cosmetics was available to test and try for those in attendance.

For those looking for tasty treats, complimentary signature Voli Vodka cocktails were on hand alongside amazing cupcakes and pastries by Immaculate Confections.

Heaton shared hosting duties with “Angeleno Magazine” through the evening as the opening’s guests were able to have their brows shaped and teased by the resident expert on site, Olga Zepeda, known as the Stript Bar-ista. Other special guests included starlet Laura Vandervoort and Hallmark’s Channel’s Dan Amboyer who recently played Prince William.

According to its website (www.vanitymark.com), the boutique line of cosmetics is known for its many varieties of high-quality brow tools and makeup and the best in shimmering body makeup, and Dr. KISS, a unique tinted satin-finish lip balm with a vanilla-mint flavor. Founder and makeup artsist Freedman frequently works with young Hollywood A-listers like Vanessa Hudgens, Kelly Clarkson, Emily Blunt and Jessica Biel.

Before starting his own line, Freedman had deals with such huge brands as Revlon, Neutrogena and Pantene. Every Vanitymark product is formulated, developed and created by Freedman giving it that authentic touch “by a makeup artist and for a makeup artist.” He trained Zepeda himself and says, “The Vanitymark brow has the highest arch possible, full but never dark or obvious.”

On the website, Freedman gives special video tips for those looking to enhance their brows or to achieve an authentic summer glow. The site also features a before and after gallery, exploring how a freshly groomed brow can change someone’s entire look for the better.
