Santa Monica welcomed the classic surf brand, O’Neill, to their city July 8th, with a ribbon-cutting by Mayor Richard Bloom, and help from surfers Roy Powers and Sage Erickson, Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce members, and O’Neill representatives.
O'Neill Retail Location Open in Downtown Santa Monica
The new retail location at 2nd and Broadway are offering the latest styles and products at their downtown Santa Monica flagship store, and to ease the pain of the 405 freeway closure next weekend, will be offering a discount of 40.5% off all products in the store. O’Neill will also be offering surfboard and wetsuit giveaways throughout the summer, so the fun has just begun.
Jack O’Neill began creating wetsuits for surfers and by 1980, and dominated the world’s wetsuit market. From there, O’Neill has become one of the leaders in the beach lifestyle sportswear in the U.S., Japan and Europe.
